Do you remember that feeling, that chill, you get when you first place your foot in a pool that the summer sun has been shining on nearly all day? It's not warm, is it?
In fact, it's something that takes you by surprise. It's something that shakes you to your core. Makes you shiver and instantly want to get out. It's something that makes you regret wanting and being willing to take a step in in the first place.
That's the feeling I felt when I saw her body in your hands. The way you cling to her hips and she moved about with moves that enticed you and brought you to her very being. That's the same feeling I felt when I saw that she had spent New Years with you. That cold chill resonated in my heart. I can't begin to describe how it hurt.
I love you. But I hate that feeling. And from now on, I'll do everything in my power to avoid that cold water summer chill.
