~Chapter 25~

Amy's POV~

I felt myself start to open my eyes slowly before my view started to come into focus. I looked around, trying to get a view to see where I was. Then I saw Jack by my side. I could hear sniffling from him and he was shaking. Was..........Was Jack..........crying? "J..........Ja..........ck..........?" I could hear myself wheezing. He looked up at me, and his eyes were wide. I could see tears gently streaming down his cheeks. "Amy.........?" I gave a soft smile and saw him holding my hand. I squeezed his hand lightly. "Amy!" Without even a second, he got up and gently hugged me. I hugged him back as I felt him shake. "Thank god your awake.......I.........I thought I lost you........I thought I lost you both......f-for good........" "Shh........" I whispered to Jack as I gently rubbed his back. "I..........I'm not.........going anywhere." After a couple of minutes of silence and sniffling, he finally relaxed and calmed down. He pulled out of the hug and gently kissed me. "........Are you alright?" "Y.......Yeah......." I could barely even speak. I looked at him, feeling confused. "W..........What.........h..........happened..........?" I softly asked. I could hear how bad my voice was. "You.........You don't remember?" Jack asked, as he moved closer. I was going to reply but I quickly noticed the bandages wrapped around his sides. I looked down at myself and saw I was bandaged up too. That's when I remembered everything. The horrible agony I felt, the pleas I cried, and........him. I felt my heart beat faster and faster, as my breathing quickened. "Amy.....?" I was shaking and I started hyperventilating. I could feel tears start to fall down my cheeks and I started whimpering. I was about to have a panic attack.........but it all stopped when Jack pulled me into his arms. "Amy........It's okay." That's when I looked around again and realized that I was in my room. I was home. My gaze returned to Jack's, his grey eyes giving me a soft but warm and loving gaze. "Your safe." I started to shake and I finally broke down. I moved into his chest and cried as I wrapped my arms around his back. Jack didn't care and pulled me closer to him. I was violently shaking. I had never been so scared. "J-Jackie.........." I whimpered his name through my sobs as I gripped his back tightly. "Shh........It's okay........" He gently kissed my head. "Your safe now." I looked over his shoulder and saw Jason standing there. "Hi Amy." He greeted. "H.......Hi J-Jason........." I murmured, hearing my voice crack. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" I nodded, agreeing. It had been a little bit since I had seen Jason. "How are you feeling?" He asked. That's when I felt the pain from my head and back. "E........Everything.........h-hurts........" I whimpered, as I felt more tears running down my cheeks. That's when I remembered what Isaac did to my stomach. "The........The baby! Is the b-baby........?!" I started panicking, until Jack calmed me down. He had his hand on my stomach. I sighed with relief as I felt movement. "He..........He...........didn't.........hurt it.........." I let out a shaky sigh, before rubbing my stomach gently. Thank god he didn't hurt our baby. "That's...........what I wanted to talk to you about Amy." Jason said quietly, while looking at me. I looked up at him with worry in my eyes. "While I was bandaging your wounds, I was able to see your little one thanks to one of my friends' abilities. And..........there was damage to the womb." My heart sank at those words. "N-N-No........." I choked as tears threatened to fall. Jack held my hand and comforted me. Jason continued with his arms crossed against his chest. "The damage wasn't too bad, and I was able to repair it. Your baby will be fine." I sighed with relief and rubbed my stomach. I was so scared Isaac had caused irreversible damage. Jason turned around and looked back at me. "I'll leave you two alone." He said before he left. Jack climbed up onto my bed and laid next to me. I cried softly as Jack wrapped his arms around me and gently pulled me up against his chest. He wanted to be careful to not hurt me. "It's okay Amy." He murmured softly, stroking my hair. "I'm here now." I felt safe when I was with him. "I-I was.......s-so.......scared.........J-Jackie.........." I whimpered, as I let tears fall down my cheeks. "I was.........so scared.........that.........he.........he would've.............k-killed.......m-m-me........" He brought me closer to him and kissed me on my cheek. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Amy." He softly murmured, keeping one of his hands on my swollen stomach. "You and our baby are safe now, and he will NEVER hurt you again. I promise." I snuggled gently into his embrace, as I tried to hide my whimpers.
