Shaggy, Ruby, and Scooby were standing by the side of the boat. Minding their own business and looking around. Scooby sees bubbling and tilts his head. Not soon after, the source of the bubbling was revealed. A catfish bigger than any of the three have ever seen.
"Raggy, Ruby, rcatfish!" Scooby says
That managed to get their attention and they look over at the catfish.
"Zoinks!" Shaggy says after seeing the catfish's size
"That's the biggest one I have ever seen." Ruby adds
"Ha ha, that's probably Big Mona. Ain't nobody never been able to catch her." Jaques explains
Big Mona then spurts water right into Scooby's face. Scooby growls in response.
"Guess that's one catfish who doesn't like dogs, old buddy." Shaggy says
"Rotten rcatfish." Scooby says as he shakes some water off
Big Mona purposely splashes water into Scooby's face and swims off as she does so. Scooby tries to go after her but starts nearly falling. Ruby grabs in trying to keep Scooby on the boat.
"I've got you, Scooby." Ruby says
Shaggy tries to grab Ruby's cloak but Ruby and Scooby fall in the water before he can grab them. The two poke their heads out of the water to catch their breath and see two aligtors coming for them.
"Yikes!!!!" The two scream in unison
Back on the boat, Fred, Velma, Daphne, Weiss, Blake, and Yang witnessed what happened.
"Oh no!!!" Daphne yells
Fred turns to Jacques and says, "Jacques, you gotta turn this thing around!!"
"In trying son, but she don't turn in no dime!!" Jacques says as he turns the wheel several times but in an attempt to turn the boat around to save Ruby and Scooby
Yang and Velma burst through the door for the captain's cabin. Yang noticed a life saver and gives it to Velma
"Catch, you two!!!" Velma shouts as she tossed the life saver floatation device out to them
Much to Ruby and Scooby-Doo's dismay, one of the gators eats the floatation device. They look around. They don't notice the two aligtors coming up behind them until they rise out of the water. They then start swimming as fast as they can to get away. Another ferry, an older looking one, comes up and stops in front of them, the two look up and see a man roughly in his 20s, and general Louisiana bayou fishing clothes, I've fully light green eye, and one blue eye. He has what looks like a large fishing hook and slams it down and it gets caught in the mouth of one of the gators. Ruby and Scooby take this chance to climb onto the boat to catch their breath.
"T-T-Thanks, sir." Ruby said
The man snarls and says, "I should have let the gators eat you. I can't stand tourists."
"Now, all your splashin' chased Big Mona away!!" He added in anger
"Oh, quit your grumbling Snakebite. You ain't never caught that fish, and you ain't never gonna did." They hear Jacques say as they look over and see his ferry
"Says you!!!" Snakebite says as he splashes water that hurts Velma, Fred, and Daphne
Velma took off her glasses and dried them off.
"Yeesh, not to friendly, is he?" Yang says
Back on Snakebite's ferry, Scooby hears a snort and hides behind Ruby who pulls out Crescent Rose. Snakebite laughs.
"This here's my hunting pig, Mojo." Snakebite explains
"Hunting pig???" Ruby says in confusion
"He's a lot better then any hound dog. He can smell a catfish from a mile away." Snakebite adds
Scooby growls. Ruby sees that Jacques' ferry is close enough for her to jump over to it to which she does.
"Now keep these trespassing tourists off of my boat. I've got fishing to do!!!" Snakebite yells ad his ferry goes back the way it came after he dropped Scooby off of his hook onto Jacques' ferry
"That's ol' Snakebite Scruggs. He thinks the bayou's his own private preserve. He don't like nobody being in it no more." Jacques explains
"So we noticed. Suspicious character, eh Weiss?" Ruby says
"True, but he did save you and Scooby from being eaten by aligtors." Weiss says
A few minutes later, they got to the next area of the bayou and saw an island lined with trees. This was Moonscar Island
"Moonscar Island.....dead ahead." Jacques says
Fred gets some footage of the island for Coast to Coast. Later, both Lena's truck and and The Mystery Machine pulled into the dock off of Jacques' ferry.
"And Miss Lena, you give my message to Miss Lenoir, you hear cherie?" Jacques yells as his ferry drives off and the tailgate lifts back up
"I'll do that Jacques, thanks!" Lena yells back
