Daphne and Blake were waiting at a street corner. Daphne looked at her wrist watch.
"Well, this is the latest Fred has ever been for something." Daphne said to herself
"Yeah...." Blake said
Just then, Fred pulled up in a van that had The Mystery Machine's paintjob but without flowers on the side tarps that say 'Coast to Coast with Daphne Blake and Blake Belladonna' where The Mystery Machine logo would be and he gets out
"Sorry i'm late you two, the traffic was murder." Fred said
"Thank goodness." Daphne says grabbing one of those rolling backpacks
"Is this everything?" Blake asks o make sure they have everything
"Yes, I made sure to pack the camera as well." Daphne answers setting the bag down by the back door of the vehicle Fred was using
"Got the maps?" Fred asks
"Yeah..." Daphne answers
"Are you sure you haven't forgotten anything?" Fred asks rhetorically as Blake grabs the right hand side door's handle
"Fred, what is with you? Yes i'm sure, i'm sure!" Daphne snaps in responds
"Well then....." Blake says as her and Fred open the back doors of the vehicle
Shaggy, Scooby, Ruby, Yang, Velma, and Weiss pop out with party blowers and tossing confetti
"Surprise!! Happy Birthday, Daphne and Blake!!!!" The 7 say in unison
Everyone gets out of the vehicle. While Blake did expect Shaggy, Velma, and Scooby to be here, she didn't expect the rest of the team she was a part of outside of being an honorary member of Mystery Inc.
"Gosh, it's great to see you all. Guess I was so busy with Blake and I's show that I forgot our own birthday." Daphne says
"I hope you don't mind, but Fred asked the others to come along. But I certainly didn't expect him to get Weiss, Yang, and Ruby as well." Blake explains
"Oh Freddie...this is the greatest Birthday present ever. It'll be just like old times!" Daphne says
"Reah, rold times!" Scooby says popping up and licking Daphne and Fred's face
"Easy boy, it's great to see you too, Scoob." Fred says
"Speaking of old times, look what I have for you, Scooby." Velma sad getting Scooby's attention as she pulled out a box of Scooby Snacks. "Scooby Snacks!" Velma added
Shaggy and Scooby zoom over as Velma puts a few Scooby Snacks in her hand.
"Glad to see Shaggy and Scooby haven't changed one bit." Blake said
"Go long, guys!" Velma said as she tossed the Scooby Snacks in the air
Shaggy and Scooby raced to see who'd catch them first. Scooby jumped and catched all the ones Velma threw and ate them. However,he made a strange face cause the Scooby Snacks were stale
"Velma had been saving these Scooby Snacks for a long time." Weiss explains as Shaggy grabs one from the box
"Like, for too long. They're stale." Shaggy said as he ate the Scooby Snack.
"Don't worry, you two. We're going to New Orleans for our first segment, 'Haunts of Louisiana'." Blake says
"And New Orleans as some of the best food in the world." Daphne adds
The mention of food makes Shaggy and Scooby smile
"and the best ghosts." Velma replies
The mere mention of ghosts makes Shaggy jump into Scooby's arms and the two whimper and shake
"We hope." Daphne and Blake add in unison
"Well, we should get going, then." Ruby said.
Everyone then went to load into the van until Fred stopped them
"Hold on, there's just one more thing." Fred says as he takes off the tarps from the van revealing a new 'The Mystery Machine' logo
"Groovy!" Shaggy said in response
"Great, Mystery Inc. and Team RWBY are back in business!" Velma said as the detectives and huntresses high-fived each other
