Chapter 18

Kacies pov:

I awoke to Thalia shaking me.

"Come on. We are going to be late to breakfast if you don't get up." Thalia said. I sat up groggily and looked around the cabin.

"Where-" I started to say before I was cut off.

"Where's everyone else?" Thalia asked quickly. I just nodded my head slowly.

"They are at the dinning hall eating or waiting for us to get there. Either way we should leave now." Thalia said.

I got out of bed and changed quickly. Once I was changed Thalia grabbed my hand and ran out of our cabin and to the dinning hall. We approached the doors to the dinning hall when we heard an arguing match between a boy and a girl. Thalia pushed the doors open and saw that the hunters had their bows drawn and aimed at a small group of campers, some of which were backing away very slowly.

The campers who stayed with the group had swords and spears at the ready. In the corner of the dinning hall where the hunters table was sat Dameion who was content with watching. In front of both groups stood a male camper and a female hunter.

"You have no right to even try to judge me girl!" The male shouted.

"And you have no right to speak to us boy!" The female hunter shouted right back. It took me a second to realize that the female was the newest hunter to join the hunt.

Her name is Andrea. She is five foot four, with ice blue eyes, and raven black hair. She is super pale, but it makes sense seen as how her mother is Khione.

Yes the winter goddess who sided with geae in the last war. Once the war was over Percy apparently convinced not only Zeus but the entire council to grant amnesty to the minor gods who had turned.

Anyways Andrea was still arguing with a really buff guy who had blood red armor on. I believe his name was Trent.

"What is going on here!?" Thalia bellowed, successfully getting both of their attentions.

"T-Thalia! W-What are you doing h-here? Weren't you supposed to get Kacie?" Andrea asked as her face got a little shade of red.

"I got here with Kacie to see-... Is that my jacket?" She asked Andrea while pointing to a black jacket that looked a lot like Thalia's. Andrea went from light pink that was barely noticeable to full on red rose blush that everyone could see.

"Umm. N-n-no?" Andrea said.

"Oh my gods! Not only are you a cold hearted ice princess, but a lesbo on top of that? This is to priceless!" Trent said. "No wonder the hunters hate males! They are obviously to busy fu-" Trent never got to finish for Dameion full on tackled him.

Dameion let out a growl that obviously said you don't mess with the hunters.

Andrea looked at Thalia who had a look of shock on her face. Andrea's face went from horror to absolute sadness as she ran out of the dinning hall crying. Dameion turned to look at her before looking back at Trent, he growled before jumping off and going after Andrea.

As soon as he ran out, Annabeth and Jason walked in. "What's going on?" Jason asked.

Jason's pov:

"What is going on?" I asked the room. No one decided to speak. "So no one knows?" I asked.

"That boy was trying to flirt with some of our younger hunters. Andrea stepped up and told him to back off. He responded with calling her an ice princess which started this whole chain of events!" One of the hunters said. (I believe her name was Tami? No. Tanni? No... Toni!) Toni said as she pointed at Trent.
