(05) - Marriage -

Xiao Zhan POV

"Zhan-ge" Yibo call me out of the blue. We both lying down in the couch playing some game.

"Hm?"

"What's Marriage?" He ask, I jolt.

'Is he going to...?'

"Marriage?"

"Yup. Marriage"

I look up and let my mind wander for a sec. What should I say?

"Marriage huh? For me it's like a toothbrush holder"

"What? Why toothbrush holder?" He sit and look at my face.

"There's only one holder but many toothbrushes"

"What's that got to do with marriage?" He put his head on my knee, facing me.

"Being together as one like toothbrushes in a holder. Human living together and sharing one home" I said.

"Then I must be married, already. With you. Living together and all. We even sharing one toothbrush holder" He hugs my knees.

I lightly smack his head.

"Silly! You can't get married without a wedding"

"Really?" He pouts and lay back down.

One evening, I woke up feeling really awful after taking nap. My head feels like it's gonna split any minute. My stomach churns. And I think I have fever.

I take my phone and call Xichen-ge.

"Ge. Help" is the only thing I managed to say.

"I'll be there" he said immediately and hungs up.

I hope Yibo will be home a little bit late today.

30 minutes later Xichen-ge arrived.

He gave me some painkiller shots and some drips.

"Feeling better?"

"Yeah. Thanks ge"

"Zhan, you know you don't have much time right?"

"I know ge. I know" I close my eyes.

"At this rate I can't even gave you a month. If you have something to do. Do it quickly so you won't have any regret" he said, he looks like he's about to cry.

"I will do it all as soon as I can ge. I will try. Sorry ge" I take his hand.

"You know,I always praying that somehow you'll get a miracle and live longer than me. You know I love you like family right Zhan?" He holds my hand.

"I know ge. Thank you"

Xichen-ge left after I'm done with the drips.

I was cooking dinner when Yibo arrived 2 hours later. His eyes looking a bit red but he's smiling happily. He looks glowing.

"Zhan-ge I'll get married" He said giving me a back hugs.

"Really? Congratulations!" I turn around and hugs him back.

I hope he won't mind my heart beating so fast. I hope he gonna think that's because I get excited hearing his happy news.

I hope he won't hear my shattering heart.

"Good for you! Ah my didi finally grew up" I hugs him tightly. It'll be the last time I can hugs him like this.
