The truth.

"Lilia i'm not going to hurt you.."

I kept staring, more tears streaming down my face as i couldn't believe what the fuck just happened. He took another step towards me and all i could do was sob.

"Don't come any closer"

All those times i had to be scared because of a man was running through my head again. How i haven't noticed any guns before, how i haven't noticed my moms fucking coworker was dangerous. How i haven't noticed the man i'm sleeping with is dangerous. Jack stopped and he glupped, what is he hiding, how he got a gun, how a lawyer got strenght to kill someone just like that, i dont understand.
I felt world spinning around me and next thing i noticed was how everything gone black.

Jack's point of view

I shouldn't have let Lilia see this, i should have told her who i am before i lost my temper..
The ride at my place was long, Lilia was passed out on the back seat and i won't blame her. She couldn't have known and i let her see that.
I sighed as i pulled to my garage and parked my car before taking Lilia to my arms. I carried her to my bed before going to bathroom, leaning against the counter as i stared into the mirror, this is who i am and Lilia has every right to know. I washed my face before taking my shirt off. I walked to bed and once i laid down Lilia opened her eyes. I noticed the panic as she sat up screaming.

"Baby"

I grabbed her into my arms and she obviously tried to get free screaming and begging me to let go.

"Let me explain, i promise i'm not going to hurt you and i will tell you everything. Please babygirl."

She glupped and stopped squirming, maybe she realised there is no use. She is so small.
I let my grib get loose as she calmed down and i ruffled my dark hair sighing.

"Who are you"

She whispered after she got herself calm, fear was around her and i could notice that. All those times i was on a mission and heard that tone. This time was different, i wasn't on a mission, i was with a person who was growing into me.

"Jack. Everything you know is true, i just haven't told you everything about my life"

I tried to keep my voice calm to not scare her. Never have i ever been in this kinda situation before.

"Since when fucking lawyers has been shooting and killing people Jack??"

She was starting to get angry, not blaming her once again. I took a deep breath before i took everything in me to spit the truth out, i know it might make me lose her but i had no option left.

"I'm part of my brothers gang Lilia. I might be a lawyer, but that is only to keep us clean. If there is any case i take them and make us get clean. It's fucked up i know, but we don't hurt innocent people Lilia. Shane wasn't innocent for fuck sake, i can't even imagine the fuck would had happen if i wasn't there!"

I raised my voice a little and i could see her flinch, i glupped and touched her arm ever so slightly i could.

"Lilia, i promise to tell you everything. I couldn't hold myself, seeing him on you like that made me lose it. I can't let anyone hurt my little princess.."
