The Sword of Summer

"I hate this plan. Let's do it."

Carve the Mark

"Though I had already read all those books, I wanted to open them again just to search out the parts he most treasured; I wanted to read them as if immersed in his mind."

Ugh, I love the Heroes of Olympus series!!! Reading it this second time around was honestly  better than the first time. I felt like I could appreciate it so much more. I understood the story and characters better, and it was just all that I could have asked for and more. The Sword of Summer was amazing and so funny I could hardly believe it. I always felt like I was missing out on not having read it before and I was. There are two more books out there and I can't wait to read them. Carve the Mark was so good too. Veronica Roth did an amazing job with one. There were so many incredible lines that it was hard to chose which one to post above.

So, were all stuck in quarantine. Most people would think that that gives me plenty of time to get things done but that's not how my brain works. Unfortunately. I have no idea when I'm gonna start reading again. As soon as the school year started, my brain stopped focusing on reading and went into I'm gonna see how long this bitch can last up against these mental illness symptoms. It's April. I've started books but have had no energy in me to finish them. I'm also failing philosophy so pray for my academic standing, please. I know I ask this a lot, but I do pass the majority of my classes. I just need a little moral boost or something.

I hope you're all doing well, and I'm constantly sending love out to you flowers. My anxiety is pretty rude these days so I understand the stress of it all. Prayers to you all and lots of hand washing vibes.

Stay safe, much love.
