You sighed, walking over to Tom, who was standing in the middle of both changing rooms.

He gave one of his sly side-smirks as he spoke.

"Wanna bet?"
——————————————————

"I only have about ten bucks on me," you said, checking your phone case, smiling. "So I wouldn't mind getting more."

"You will lose that, not gain mine."

"Only if I lose the game," you referenced. (Comment if you know the rEfReNce)

"Yes." Tom nodded. "That's what losing means."

You shook away your laughter, trying to think about who would be the best bet. Steph and Haz have seemed pretty close lately, but Z and Jacob have known each other for a longer time.

"I'm going to go with Haz and Stephanie," Tom contemplated after thinking for a while.

"Z and Jacob." You smirked. "Why?"

"Well, I dunno I just kind of 'ship' them," he laughed, giving you one of his side glances. "That, and they have similar tastes. See that she's wearing a dark gray flannel and he's wearing a black and light gray plaid shirt. They both have dark-colored jeans as well, and their shoes are from the same brand, if you look closely." He smiled at himself in pride, feeling confident in his choice.

You thought back to both of their outfits, realizing that your ten bucks were more at stake than you originally thought.

"I guess you're right," you laughed slightly, looking back at him. You paused, trying to figure out a way to make the silence less awkward. "I'm sorry."

His head shot to yours at the bluntness of the words. "You have nothing to be sorry for." He faced you fully, moving the front of his body towards you. He immediately knew that you were referencing the conversation from a few moments ago. "I'm glad you told me something, even if I didn't catch half of it. But I'd really like it if you told me again, preferably at a more convenient place too."

"Right," you sighed, copying the grin that he had, looking down and seeing strands of hair fall across the sides of your face.

"What do we do when we're ready?!" Stephanie shouted from her dressing room.

"How are you done already?" Z yelled back, "Its barely been 20 seconds!!"

"I don't know." She shrugged. "I just am."

Soon after, the other three had changed into their clothes and were waiting for your and Tom's signal. Since you weren't really sure how this was going to work, you let the whole thing up to Tom.

"Harrison Osterfield, step forward," he said, lowering his voice like a game show host.

Then he turned to you. "Get your ten 'dollars' ready, (Y/N)."

Haz's fitting room door opened, and he stepped back into the store, out of the dressing area. The first thing you noticed about him was his bright blue button-up shirt, but unlike the photo below, it's unfortunately closed. To go with it, he had a set of dark blue-ish gray pants that held his tucked-in top. The sleeves were rolled up halfway, exposing his (weirdly) attractive forearms. He did a quick spin on the edges of his heels, showing a 360° view of his outfit, a shy grin plastered on his face.
