After scarfing down 3 full waffles, Ned and I retreated to Tony's lab. There we found Tony, Cap and Nat. "Hey Pete, Ned it's nice to see you." Cap greeted and elbowed a preoccupied Tony. "Yeah, nice to see you." Nat didn't say anything, she only trotted to my work station and sat on the counter closet to it. "Friday call MJ." My computer lit up with the Skype call screen and a second later MJ answered. "Peter!" She looked way different. "Hey MJ, how are things?" She screwed her eyes into slits. "They're fine, how are you?" I laid out the bloodied and tattered suit. "Doing well. I'm sorry for shutting you and Ned out. Dealing with her death has been hard." She nodded. "I know Pete, I expect to see more of you since Ned broke through to you." I smiled softly. "You will see more of me, I've got to take care of a few things. But I'll see you later okay?" She smiled and waved goodbye. I shut off the monitor and stared at the suit. "Pete you don't have to rush into this." Nat reminded me and she put her hand on my shoulder.

"I...I know. I think that once I wear it again, I can start to heal. Ned in the cabinet above the first aid station is some cleaning agents." Ned moved to the wall farthest from me and I turned to face Nat. "I want to save people again, save them for her." Nat smiled, her eyes lighting up slightly. "She'd be proud of you Pete, we all might not be able to be the softest people you know, but we're proud of you too. We love you. Remember that." I nodded and Ned slid a bleach bottle towards me. "If you dab the bleach into the suit, you shouldn't mess up any tech." I got to work on working the dried blood out of the suit, my head in the clouds.

Ned had to go home around noonish. "Peter!" I got all the blood out, but now I'm working on some new web technology. I looked up to see Thor standing with Mjölnir. "Thor? I didn't think you'd be back so soon." He shrugged and made his way to me, flipping his hammer delicately. "Just visiting." Thor set Mjölnir down on my work table. "I was asked to stick around, talk to you. Cap said something about an incident." I dropped my eyes to the web shooters. "How hard was it for you to lose Jane?" Thor sat down on the counter where Nat was only a few hours ago.

He sighed, "It hurt. It still does. I loved her. Why?" I sat down, playing with my fingers. "My Aunt May passed away two months ago. A couple of armed robbers broke in while I was out on patrol and shot her in her room. I...I haven't worn the suit since." My voice cracked near the end and I had to fight back the tears threatening to fall. "Oh. Well I'll let you in on a secret kid. Nothing hurts more than losing the one's you love. But that shouldn't stop you from fighting. From living. It's going to hurt. You're going to cry and scream and do everything you can to fix the problem, but they're gone and you can't fix that. So instead, you go out and save those who need saving. There's always someone you won't be able to save. And you have to live with that." Thor stood up, putting his hand on my shoulder. "If you need someone to talk to, I'm here."

It was around 6ish when I finished tinkering with my suit. "Mr. Parker, Mr. Rogers would like you to know it's dinner time." I stood up from my work station. "Thank you Friday." I exited the lab and decided to take the stairs. I got to the top and pushed open the glass door separating me from the kitchen and lounge.

I wasn't really hungry and I wanted was to go to sleep. "Peter I want to talk to you after dinner." I blinked and looked up at Strange, he's our designated doctor. "Uh..sure?" I tuned into the conversation at the table. "There's been a new guy in town. Calls himself Deadpool." I tried to hide the grin. Deadpool and I had teamed up shortly before the incident. He left town, I guess he's back now. "We can worry about that later. Pete how's the suit coming along?" Tony inquired and I looked up from my mostly full plate of food. "Uh good. I...I got all the uh...blood out. I put in some new tech and Karen has more abilities." Tony nodded. "Can I be excused?" Cap started to protest before Clint elbowed him in the stomach. "Sure."

I went back to my room and leaned against the wall, emotionally and physically tired from today. I heard a knock before someone opened the door. "Peter, we need to talk." Strange stepped in fully. He closed the door and turned on the light. I hadn't bothered turning it on beforehand. "Tony and I have been talking...we think it'd be best if you...were put on some antidepressants. We understand that May's passing has been hard on you and we only want to see you get better. Please don't fight us on this." I frowned slightly. Maybe that will help. "Yeah okay. When do I start them?" Strange bit his lip, seemingly shocked at my reaction. "We'll schedule a check up tomorrow and from there we'll find a fit best for you. All of us take them Pete, it helps with the nightmares and guilt of not being able to save everyone."
