Chapter Twenty-Three

Jimin was smart...he knew you'd be creeped out and hide the doll...but you would never suspect that he'd use an actual person's eyes to watch you.

He must have taken advantage of the connection between worlds. Since there was an other Jungkook...he had a link to the your Jungkook...which mean the could watch your every move without you even considering the possibility that you weren't safe...but his plan had a side effect...because the other Jungkook could see into this world...the real Jungkook could see in his world...which would explain the dreams and the pain in his wrist....

The chestnut haired man moved into the kitchen, his eyes watching as Jungkook embraced you in a hug, muttering something about how glad he was that you were safe...From what Taehyung had observed, he knew Jungkook would never willingly hurt you or put you in danger...which meant he must not have known that he was being used as a spy...But that didn't make him any less dangerous.

If Jimin were to find out your plans to go back, you would loose the element of surprise and you'd be walking straight into a trap.

"Y/n."

Your eyes shot up at your name.

"I think we may have a problem."

Seokjin frowned in confusion as he entered the room.

"Why?" He asked. "What's going on? What does Jungkook's wrist have to do with any of this?"

You bit your lip, glancing at the red-head beside you.

"Look, I think you should all leave-"

"No way." Hoseok chimed. "Y/n leaves for days and doesn't leave any word, now when she finally comes back, she's injured and looks like she hasn't eaten in days and now you start freaking out because Jungkook talks in his sleep?"

You frowned in confusion as Taehyung sighed.

"It's a long story."

Jin plopped down in a chair.

"I've got all day."

Taehyung ran a hand through his hair.

"You wouldn't believe us."

Hoseok crossed his arms.

"Try us."

Seokjin raised an eyebrow as he stared at the small door in front of him, head tilted to the side in confusion as he tried to process everything he had been told.

"Can you unlock it?" He asked.

You shook your head.

"Not in a million years." You sighed. "That door is evil."

Yoongi crossed his arms over his chest, eyebrows raising in disbelief.

"Okay," He said. "I just want to make sure that you're aware of how insane this all sounds, hot neighbor."

You nodded your head.

"Trust me, I didn't want to believe it at first either...but what I'm telling you....it's all true."

Jungkook tilted his head to the side, eyes studying you.

"If it is.." He started. "Then does that mean I really was helping him to catch you? I was showing him your weaknesses?"

You sighed, placing your hand in his hair in a comforting manner.

"Don't blame yourself...You couldn't have known that he was using you.."

"This is insane!" Hoseok exclaimed. "How could there be an entirely different world and us not know about it?! We've been living here for years!"

"The world wasn't meant for you." Taehyung explained. "It was only ever meant for Y/n..."

Jin sighed.

"So you're saying that this...other Jimin...he took the real Jimin and Namjoon in order to lure Y/n back into his world and force her to stay there forever?"

Taehyung nodded.

Jin let out a chuckle of disbelief.

"I can't believe I'm about to say this," He laughed. "But, I actually believe you."

Hoseok's eyes widened.

"What?" He questioned. "They sound insane! You cannot seriously-"

"How else would you explain Jungkook's dreams?" Jin interrupted. "Or Y/n's disappearance? If they were really lying, we would have seen Jimin and Namjoon leave...or at least heard them in the middle of the night..."

Yoongi nodded in agreement.

"You all sound like a bunch of lunatics," He said, eyes moving to yours. "But I trust the hot neighbor...and I certainly don't think her wrist broke itself...If she says that this is true, then it is true...insane or not."

Hoseok stared at the three men dumbfounded.

"I cannot believe this." He sighed.

You watched as he battled with himself for a moment, clearly hesitant about joining your seemingly lost cause.

"Let's say I do believe you," He continued. "How would we get Jimin and Namjoon back?"

You sighed.

"That's where things get complicated."
