"I am going away tomorrow," Taehyung has his eyes on the waves, following the arc of the water as it crashes down on their toes.
Their backs are wet, as well as their bottoms but besides that, they were completely dry, not in the mood to swim today.
"Going where?" Jeongguk asked, surprised. "You just got here."
He doesn't know why but Taehyung inhales a shaky breath, "I know, and I'd love to stay but there's places I need to go to."
Jeongguk nods, "That's understandable."
Taehyung then smiles, the skies in hues of gold, pink and orange and it painted his face of longing, happiness and love.
Jeongguk's sure Taehyung shouldn't look at him like that.
"Wanna go for a last swim?"
Jeongguk agrees, and though the water was cold, he follows.
And when goodbyes came, it was awkward not knowing how to send off a (kinda) friend he'd met only a week ago.
But the following days after that were harder for Jeongguk, alone in the cabin he used to share with Jimin.
The following days, he packs his bags and goes.
