Yoongi sat in front of him at the table, eyes blank. The two best friends have gone to get something from their rooms, Taehyung is not sure how to talk to Min.
"Yoongi-ssi, nice to meet you." He settles to give the other a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too," Yoongi instead tilts his head similar to a bow's and never returns the handshake. Taehyung freezes. "Daegun*."
He retracts his hand.
He puts on a smile because how the –
"It's a long way from home, Gunwi* Min-gun."
The older clicks his tongue.
Long way indeed.
"How did you get here?" Yoongi asks, as Taehyung smile sadly.
"By not drinking dozens of the herbal tea the reaper gives."
Yoongi's eyes widens, "Really? It's only been 2 lifetimes since for me."
"The universe is cruel," He recites a passage his sister from lifetimes ago once told him, and to his surprise Yoongi finishes it.
"But so is love."
They share a glance.
"How's Jeongguk?" Yoongi asks, sipping from his cup of coffee.
He smiles, "He's changed."
