A couple of months went by and I was finally on my summer break. Cherry left me for good this time and I think it's for the best. One day I came home from work and she said we are never going to work and she needs someone steady and not a on and off relationship. I respected her wishes and I heard from her parents a few months ago she went back to school and she dating someone new. I'm happy for her. Jace is still married, pregnant, and happy. Emily is over her feelings for Ebony and she's still working at the company with her new girlfriend. We are all good friends and Emily still stays with me. Ebony and I are doing good actually. Her parents aren't that fond of me but they like me dating her instead of Emily. Anyway after gathering my things I left the school and I headed to the company. After that I went to a fashion show and I was making sure all the models had their shit together along with Emily when Ebony approached us.

Emily: You looked pissed

Ebony: Very

Simone: What's wrong

Ebony: I fired our lead model, she's always bailing for whatever reason and I'm tired of you filling in then she still expects to get paid when can't show up to a show

Emily: So what now

Ebony: Simone your the new face until we find someone else

Simone: You know I can't take on modeling full time, I can't be the face

Emily: Can I do it, I been working for you guys for a while now and I'm junior designer and I been watching for years and you don't have another face for the company, and I'm pretty

Ebony: Your beautiful, now get out there and get dressed

I gave her a look and Ebony rolled her eyes at me. Emily did a great job and after the show I headed back to Ebony place. I let her know I was pissed about the compliment she gave Emily. It's like she wasn't paying attention to me as I was going off on her. She was just changing into shorts and a sports bra. After she was done changing I was still yelling at her. She then grabbed my face and kissed me. I automatically gave in and after the kiss I was lost of words. She just stared at me with straight face for a couple of seconds. Then she smiled and caressed my cheek.

Ebony: You are sexy, kind, fierce, independent, strong, talented, a genius, not to mention you took the bullets for me, love I'm never going to leave you, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you, I love you

Simone: I love you too
