I was exhausted from a long day at the office. The meeting was very long and she needed to try on dresses so she could fix it up a bit. She was rather strict today and a little hard on me. She's usual very kind to everyone in the office but today she was a bitch. I didn't understand why. After work I headed to her place and I could tell she recently got in since she was still dressed. She gave me a sad look and I sat down on the couch and told her sit next to me. She handed me a cup of coffee then sat down.

Emily: What's bugging you

Ebony: Just family problems, I know I brought my attitude to work and I'm sorry

Ebony: My parents are being difficult and so are some of the investors because your nineteen and I'm in my thirties, my family wants me to stop seeing you

Ebony: I didn't even think of you that way back then, truth is I thought you were very immature and there were times I wanted to smack common sense into you

I couldn't help but smile. I kissed her and that turned into intense, passionate sex. But she told me her cousin won and will be taking the spot in the mayor office and her family was giving him a dinner party with just friends and family. I was happy she invited me.

I really didn't want to go to this dinner but I had no choice. My family invited Simone people as well since they are all close. Jace and her husband was here as well along with Cherry and her parents. But I introduced my family to Emily and they weren't very happy. After the awkwardness, we sat down at the table and dug in.

Ebony mom: So Emily, you ever thought about dating someone your own age, what do your parents think about you dating a woman in her thirties

Emily: Actually it's because I choose to be sexually active and my parents didn't like that and your daughter is my first girlfriend

Ebony mom: Sweetie we just want you to stop making stupid impulsive decisions, I mean Emily I'm sorry but you and her aren't going to last, this girl has hard feelings for Simone she just never shows it and your still a baby, your not women enough
