"So let me get this straight," Esmé said. "Gunther is really Count Olaf and he has hidden your friends somewhere in the building?"
"Precisely." My older sister Violet said. "Do you believe us, because no one ever does."
"Of course I believe you! You wouldn't lie to me, would you?"
"Of course not." Klaus replied.
Esmé rose from her seat. "Then, let's call the police, shall we?"

Olaf was captured, and the Quagmires were found. Esmé and Jerome adopted them, and we are all living happily together.
At least, until orphans are out...
