PLOT TWIST #3: What if Carmelita was nice?

I know, it seems scary to even think of her being nice.

KLAUS POV
My siblings and I sat on a bench outside of the vice principal's office. Then, we heard tap shoes tapping. A girl walked up to us.

"Hi, my name is Carmelita Spats. I will be your your guide for today."

My siblings and I stood up. Violet was the first to speak. "I'm Violet Baudelaire, and these are my siblings, Klaus and Sunny."

Carmelita walked over to Sunny. "Aww, she's so cute! How old is she?"

"About 8 months." I answered.

"Well, let's start the tour!"

Carmelita was really nice. She kept glaring at the students who were staring at us and giving us advice on how to get along with the teachers.
When we ended the tour, she turned to us.

"Sadly, all orphans have to live in the orphan shack. I'm working on a petition to change that rule, but Vice Principal Nero won't budge."She gave us a hug and walled away, calling, " You can sit wth me at lunch tomorrow!"

Esmé looked at Carmelita, and said "You seem like a sweet little girl. Woukd you care to join us?"

"Uh, we should talk about that first." Olaf grumbled.

Carmelita glared at Esmé. "No, I will not join you! The Baudelaires are my friends, and I will never betray them!" She turned to the Snow Scouts. "Lets go, we can skip False Spring this year."

Carmelita made her way down the mountain, waving goddbye to us. "Follow me, Baudelaires!"

I glanced at Klaus. "Sunny would want us to."

"Ba." Translated, it meants I do. Klaus and I looked behind us. It was Sunny! She must have escaped the cage! I grabbed her and ran towards Carmelita. Klaus and Quigley followed. We were safe.

At least until Olaf found us again.
