Plot Twists: A Series of Unfortunate Events

#2: WHAT IF THE KIDS BOARDED THE HOT AIR BALLOON IN ANOTHER ORDER?

VIOLET POV
"Hector, we've brought along a few more passengers, is that alright?" I asked.

"Yes, it's fine! The self sustaining hot air balloon needs multiple people to fly!" Hector responded.

The mob was getting closer. Hector lowered the ladder.

"Sunny should get in first." Klaus said. "She's still a baby, she needs to be safe."

"Not a baby." Sunny replied.

"She's right, Klaus. She isn't a baby anymore." I said to Klaus. "However, she is the youngest, so I'll take her up."

I carried Sunny on my back as I climbed up the ladder. We reached the top, and I set Sunny on the floor of the hot air balloon.

KLAUS POV
Violet and Sunny made it to the top. I turned to the Quagmires. One of you should go up next. "You've had a rough time with Count Olaf, you deserve safety."

Duncan nodded in agreement. "I agree. I'll climb up."

Duncan climbed up the ladder. It was obvious that he had a crush on my older sister. I saw that he put in the red herring.

I'll talk with him later.

ISADORA POV
"Klaus, now you go up. I can wait." I said to him.

"No." Klaus answered. "I lost you once, and I'm not losing you again. I care to much for you to let you go like this."

I felt my cheeks redden and I smirked. "What do you mean by that?"

Klaus's eyes widened. "Oh, uh, just that...um...I let you slip through my fingers at Prufrock, and I won't let it happen again here at this home village. Please climb up, the mob is getting closer!"

I thought about what he said. "Okay. But you're right after me."

I climbed up the ladder. I was halfway up when I realized it: the mob had reached us. Klaus had grabbed an empty fire hose and was threatening to fire it at them. I kept on climbing. Then, a harpoon gun shot at a ballon, and the right side of the ladder broke off. I was going to fall off!

I looked up to my brother and the Baudelaire sisters. They were telling me to climb up faster. I looked down at Klaus. I saw that look in his eye. He was going to lose me again, which is exactly what he didn't want to happen.

So, what should I do? Leave him, or go with my brother, Violet, and Sunny? Esmé chose for me. She shot a second harpoon gun at the other side of the hot air mobile home, and I fell. Right on top of Klaus.

Very smooth. Then Olaf captured us, and the Hot Air Balloon flew away.
