Camp Camp X Counselor! Reader

Chapter 2

A week has passed by, Max and (y/n) seemed to gotten closer much to David's delight.

Currently the three of them were waiting on the front of the camp for the new campers, (Y/n) even decorated the sign with balloons of science and adventure.

(Y/n) had her counselor shirt, some black shorts and her blue hoodie tied around her waist that was almost identical to Max's, except for the fact that her's was a cropped style.

David smiled down at Max as he told him about the new campers that were coming today.

"Yup, it's really truly horrifying" Max said with no emotion

"What's wrong Max? I figured you'll be excited to have new people to mess with," (y/n) said while messing with Max's hair.

Max shoved her hand off, then fix his own hair. While him and (y/n) had gotten closer as the week passed, he still didn't like her messing with his hair. However it seemed like anywhere she went, he followed.

"Hang on a sec, what are you doing out here?" David suddenly asked Max

"Well it's definitely not because of the camp bus that comes and drops off kids from the city and seems like my only escape from this fucking nightmare of a camp,"

"Funny," (y/n) with a sideways smile.

David picked up Max with and excited look on his face, "all I want is for you kids to have fun as I did as a Campbell camper!"

"I refuse to believe someone as happy as you can possibly exist," Max said with a glare

Suddenly the three of them heard the bus honk. David excitedly dropped Max and ran after the bus. Luckily for Max, (y/n) quickly reacted and caught him.

"Put me down,"

"Aw, but your so small!"

Out of nowhere (y/n) and Max heard David scream as the bus hit him.

"David, what did you expect? You ran towards the bus like a maniac," (y/n) said as she slowly put Max on the ground. She walked over towards David and helped him up as the doors of the bus opened

"Kids are here,"

(Y/n) looked over to see a girl and boy step out.  David went over and said hello to the girl named Nikki.

(Y/n) eyes widen as Nikki bit David's hand. David began to scream again until she let go. Then she felt someone tug at her sweater that was tied around her waist.

"Excuse me, is this science camp?" (Y/n) remembered his name, Neil.

"No! This is adventure camp! Unless my mom lied to me," Nikki then looked towards her side "again, sorry about your hand! Just showing dominance ya know,"

"You two will be happy to know that Camp Campbell is -" David screamed as the bus went backwards and hit him again.

"Jeez David," (y/n) rushed over in a hurry. "How are your bones not broken?!"

Both of them looked as they Quartermaster brought Max. He told David that he was going to break and he would get the bus at noon.

Quartermaster dropped Max next to David. David crouched down and told Max he was going to stay with him for the whole day.

"We'll see camp man," Max said as he walked over to stand next to (y/n)

(Y/n) looked down and smiled at Max, offering her hand. Max looked at her and glared slightly as he took it.

After walking down and making to the flag pole, (y/n) began to look around the forest. Admiring the beauty of nature, she wasn't even paying attention to what the others were saying.
