Part 41

Arnav: ohkay if you say so... 

Arnav went to sit on the bed but khushi said: yahaan nehi...(Not here..)

Arnav: then? 

She pointed towards the poolside and said: wahaan!(There)

Both of them went and sat by the poolside.

Khushi sat beside arnav resting her head on his shoulder and turned the first page.

And looking at the first lines that she had written about arnav being rude and ruthless she gave a scared look to arnav. 

Khushi fumbled: woh hum bas us waqt...(Actually that time...)

Arnav: yeah I know...tumne mera naam laad governor rakkha!(Yeah I know..you named me laad governor)

Khushi: to hum kya kartey! Aap ki harkatein hi aisi thi..(So what do I do! You did such things..)

Arnav: meri harkatein? Excuse me! Mere show ko spoil tumne kiya tha!(I did! Excuse me! You spoilt my show!) 

Khushi: hum koi jaan bujh ke waha nehi aye they..aap hi ke logon ne humey model samajh liya...is mein hum kya kartey (I didn't go there willingly..your people thought I was a model..what would I do!)

Arnav: yeah right...unhone samjha aur tumne samajhne diya! Yeh tumhari non stop chalne wala zubaan kya us waqt chhutti pe tha? (Yeah right..they understood and you let them..what happened to your non stop talks?)

Khushi: jaisa raja waisa praja..aap aur aapke samrajya ke log kabhi kisike suntey hai jo hamari baat suntey! Baarey aye laad governor!(The people of your empire are like their king..they don't listen to anyone just like you! Laad governor!)

Arnav gritted his teeth and said: how dare you khushi kumari gupta!

One line from the past and they didn't realise when it took them back to the day when it had all started.

Arnav and khushi looked at each other for a split second with anger and then realising what they were doing..they started laughing. 

Arnav: strange! Hum dono kitne..(We two are..)

Khushi kept her head back on his shoulders and said: ajeeb hai!(So strange!)

Khushi looked down at the diary and said with a smile: mannat ki chabi!(That key!)

She looked up at him and said: tab humey nehi pata tha ki ekdin hamari dua mein sirf aap honge...(That time I didn't know that only you would be there in my prayers)

Arnav: khushi main kabhi insab mein viswas nehi karta tha....us din mere liye sabse bari chunauti thi tumharey bhagwan par viswas ko todna..lekin uske badle main khud tumharey viswas ke sath jud gaya..(I never believed in these..even that day the biggest challenge for me was to break your trust...but never knew I would become attached to your belief someday)

Khushi: aapki usi koshish humey dilli le aayi..(And because of that I had to come to delhi)

Arnav kissed her on her forhead and said: uhun mere dil ke kareeb le ayi..(No that brought you closer to my heart)

Arnav: jab dilli mein tum mujhse takrayi..(When you ran into me in delhi..)

Khushi looked up and complained making a baby face: aapne hamarey scooter ka sheesha tod diya..(You broke the glass of my scooter)

Arnav smiled and said: I know..aur arnav singh raizada ki gari ko damage karke usey hi do baatein sunane ki himmat ki thi tumne..(I know and you dared to talk to arnav singh raizada even after that)

Khushi made a face and said: haan to..hum aapse nehi dartey! (I am not scared!)She said proudly.

Arnav: yeah I know..kal pata chala mujhe... Jis tarah se tumne mujhe....(Yeah I know..I got to know yesterday...the way you..)

He teased her about the kiss making her go red. 

Arnav: by the way us din main 'been badal barsaat' mein tumhari wajah se bheega tha..(By the way that 'rain without cloud' that day was because of you)

Khushi looked at her diary and realised he was quoting her.

Arnav gritted his teeth and said: office mein diya jalane ka shub**** jo kiya tha tumne! (You lit the diyas in my office)

Khushi: to hum kya kartey...devi maaiya ki murti ko aise hi khali rehene detey?? (So what could I have done..how could let the idol stay like that)

Arnav: I couldn't believe ki mere office mein mere hi sath aisa hadsaa hua (I couldn't believe something like that happened with me in my office)

Khushi: lekin jo hadsaa hamarey sath hua ussey bhayankar aur kuch nehi ho sakta..(But what happened with me was scariest of all)

Arnav: kya?(What?) 

Khushi: ASR!!! 

Arnav chuckled. 

Arnav: khushi you were unbelievable..tum mere cabin mein, mere table ke neechey..and you had no idea who was asr! (You were in my cabin, under my table and you had no idea who was asr) Arnav smiled recalling that.

Khushi: haan humey kya pata tha ki hamari kismat itni kharab hai!(How would I know I had such a bad luck) 

Arnav sounded a little low and said: haan you were very unfortunate jo tumne meri office join ki..I made your life so miserable... (Yes you were unfortunate to join my office..I made your life so miserable)

He looked at her and said: I am sorry khushi... 

Khushi cupped his face and said: arnavji agar hum aapse nehi miltey to aj yeh pal aapke sath kaise bitatey! (If I hadn't met you then we would have never got to spend this moment like this)

She then hugged him tighter and said: aur hum aapne beetey huye palon ko hastey muskuratey huye yaad karenge..kyunki humne aj tak aapke sath koi aisa pal bitaya hi nehi jiska humey afsos ho! (And we will recall the past with a smile..because I don't regret any moment that I spent with you)

Khushi: hamari sari unkahee baatein to aapne janli...ab humey bhi aapne un sari unkahee baaton ka aur ehsaaso ka hissa bana lijiye!(You know all that I didn't say..now you also make me a part of your unsaid unexpressed feelings)

Arnav smiled back at her and kissed her on her head and made a silent promise to make her a part of his secret world.
