"I love you, Hinata." He paused for a moment but then continued, "You are more than just my love, you are always and so much of everything. The thing I needed so desperately, but never knew untill I felt it."

Just as the words slipped through his lips and reached her ears, she stopped breathing. She forgot how to breath and the world stopped around her.

"You brought me back from the deepest part of my soul. You gave me a purpose to live and hope. Because of you I feel like myself again and I want to spend my whole life with you."

Hinata only listened to his words, not saying anything. Her heart was beating fast and somehow she knew what exactly Sasuke was trying to say.

"Hinata." He said and she blinked as she looked in those dark orbs . Her eyes trailed to their intertwined hands but then Sasuke removed his one hand as he slipped his hand in his pocket to get something out.

His hands were shaking, Hinata noticed. He then took out a velvet box and opened it with shaky fingers. But as soon as he opened, a ring fell out of it and tumbled to the ground as it rolled away.

"Damn it!" Sasuke hissed as he looked for the ring. He had opened the box upside down which caused the ring to fall out. Hinata couldn't help but giggle at Sasuke's nervousness. It was the first time she had seen him nervous. It was kinda cute.

"This isn't funny, " he gritted out but his ears were red. He was embarassed. He was still looking for the ring on the ground when Hinata crouched down to his level and took his face in her hands to make him look at her.

Sasuke halted his search and looked in her lavender eyes and they seem to glow. She smiled at him and a small blush formed on her cheeks.

"Yes."

"What...?"

"A thousand times yes." Her eyes were filled with unshed tears but her smile grew brighter and brighter. With that, she kissed him with everything she got. Sasuke deepened the kiss and she looped her arms around his neck.

His every kiss seemed to say 'I love you'.

They broke the kiss and leaned their foreheads against each others. "I love you, Sasuke-kun."

He could only smile because he no longer had any words to say, he was happy.

They reamined like this for few minutes, then stsrt searching for the ring. They eventually found it at night fall. It fitted her perfectly.

Next Morning

Hiashi Hyuga was sitting down in front of the tea table as he glared at the young man infront of him. Beside the young man sat his daughter who was fidgeting with her fingers, not meeting her father's eyes.

There, on her left hand's fourth finger laid a sparkling ring which glinted in the sunlight that poured in through the open courtyard.

Hinata looked between Hiashi and Sasuke, not knowing what to say to stop their glaring. Right now they were in a glaring contest, in which no one wanted to loose. The atmosphere around them was so tense that she could feel it int he air.

She worked up the courage and cleared her throat. But both of them ignored her. Sasuke had promised that he would behave and not let his Uchiha attitude get the best of him. But here he was.

Hinata tugged at Sasuke's sleeve to grab his attention. Finally he looked away from Hiashi and saw Hinata silently pleading with her eyes to give in. He sighed and offered her a smile as he took her hand in his.

Then he turned to Hiashi and said bluntly, "I love Hinata and I want to marry her."

Hinata blushed at his blunt words but said nothing. She silently prayed that her father wouldn't doubt Sasuke's intentions and  won't refuse this marraige. But ofcourse, life wasn't that easy.
