What is Jerome?
I find myself asking this question ALL too often.
Jerome is... a masterpiece. Jerome is the amalgamation of all things demonic, all things sleep paralysis demon, and all things Cronenburg.
Jerome is he who must not be questioned. His true purpose in life is to devour, consume and evolve.
Jerome has the facade of the creature derived of fear, terror and horror from the depths of hell, the appetite of an endless void and the strained voice of an anime girl.
Terrifying, right?
Wrong.
Jerome is nothing if not misunderstood. While he may do much to hurt others, causing harm is not his intent. He means well though his appearance may suggest otherwise.
All Jerome knows is growing, consuming and the never ending hunger that fuels him to absorb all that comes before him.
Jerome just wants to thrive like any other living thing (aside from the ones that stood in his path and got devoured, may they rest in peace). Jerome wishes he could bring back those who he has consumed but alas, he is no magician, nor sorcerer nor wizard nor doctor.
Jerome is a deadly piece of art and that is all he will ever be.
