" Cara wait!"

I hear him calling for me but I just don't have the patience to look at him.

" I can explain everything!"

Jade, Tracey, Alexa and Braden all keep up with me and walk by me

" come on, the car's right there" Jade says as she rubs my shoulders

I stay quiet and follow her lead because I just want to get as far away from him as possible.

*** 3 hours ago ****

" okay so" Tracey says as he grabs orange juice from my fridge

After about 30 seconds Braden gives him a weird glare

" what?" Braden asks

" oh, I don't know what I was saying" he replies

" idiot" Braden claps back

I laugh as I scroll through my Instagram and I see cam posted a picture of him and Olly in their gear, ready for the game and it already has 126 like within 30 minutes and I scroll through the comments and it's mainly girls. I roll my eyes and continue scrolling.

" do you guys wanna go to the game?" Alexa asks and we all look at her

" I'm down" Jade replies

" sure" Tracey adds

" what time does it even start?" Braden asks

" like an hour I think" I add and they all nod

" who's driving?" Braden asks

" nose goes!" I yell as I throw my finger on top of my nose and everyone does the same except for Tracey

" ah fuck you guys" he says and we all laugh

** present **

"Baby please" he begs as I hear his cleats hitting the concrete of the parking lot

** 1 hour ago **

" alright children let's go!" Alexa yells as we all grab our stuff and head to the car.

Once we get to the school parking lot, we spend 10 minutes looking for parking.

Before we get to the field, I open up my snap camera and check my hair and makeup.

We all step out and head towards the field. I tuck my phone in my back pocket and throw my arm around Jade

As we approach the field I notice Cam talking to a girl but I don't think anything of it because I'm not the clingy type that won't let you have friends. Live your life, just be loyal and respectful.

As we get closer to them I see how she's twirling her hair in one hand then playfully hitting his shoulder with the other.

Okay. Yeah, Cam's cute. It's fine.

I look to my left and see a girl with a sign spelling out Cam's name and his number. Well. This is fucking annoying.

Cam looks over at me and does a double take.

" hey, I'll catch ya later alright?" He tells the girl and she looks at us and then him and gives a fake smile

" for sure" she says then winks

I look at Cam with a " you've gotta be joking" face.

He grabs me by my waist and hugs me tightly then whispers in my ear.

" you've got all my attention baby"

My heart flutters as I pull away from him.

" don't make me fight a girl because they don't know their place" I say and he laughs and squeezes my hand reassuringly.

" I didn't even know you were coming" he says as he scratches the back of his neck.

" yeah, I wanted to surprise you. The whole project thing was a lie" I say and he nervously laughs

" is everything.. okay?" I ask

" yeah, yeah! Everything is a-okay" he replies and I glare at him

" o-kay? Well, good luck and I'll be cheering you on" I say and he smiles at me

" thank you" he responds as he caresses my cheek and I blush

" I'm gonna gag" Braden says loudly and I laugh as I pull away from Cam and he laughs and turns around towards the field

** 50 minutes later **

" Go Cam!!!" We shout as he scores the winning touchdown

" yeah baby!" I hear a girl yell and I look over at her

I can't help but notice she's wearing a crop top and has the number '1' painted on her stomach... Cam's number..

" ugh, he's so hot. Can you believe he invited me to his place tomorrow" she says to her friend next to her and I raise my eyebrows in shock.

" no way! I thought he was messing with that one girl. God what's her name? Oh! Cara right?" She responds and the girl rolls her eyes

" he told me they weren't a real thing and to not worry about her so I won't, and if she tries anything she can get smacked" she says as she laughs and I can't help myself so I push past Jade and step down to her

" smack me huh?" I ask as she stares at me shocked

" stalker much?" She asks and I laugh and get in her face

" try it bitch" I clap back

She shoves me and I almost lose by balance, but once I gain it back I grab her hair and just start swinging.

I honestly can't remember what happened, just that Tracey pulled me off and her lip was busted.
I look up and numerous phones were out, and boys and girls shouting. Then I look to my left and see staff coming, I push Tracey off and glare at the girl.

I walk off and once I'm off the bleachers I see the whole football team staring at the whole commotion.

My group of friends follow, calling my name but my adrenaline is too high right now to function. I see Cam and he pushes past his teammates to run to me.

" Cara! What happened?" He yells from across the field.

" your lady friend let me know about your little invite you gave her for tomorrow" I yell and his face goes blank in pure shock.

" ya know what? Fuck you Cam! Fuck y-" my words are cut short by Jades hand covering my mouth as she pulls me away

" let's go" she says softly as she pulls me away

I get to the car and everyone jumps inside but I stare at the empty seat next to jade as I stand outside with the door propped open.

The clicking of his cleats come to a stop and I can feel his stare on me.

" you have 5 minutes" I say as I shut the car door
