" Cameron" I say as I pull away from the kiss
" hmm?" He hums and he looks up at me
" are we telling people we're like.. talking or?" I ask and I feel my face flush
" oh, um... well" he starts as he scratches the back of his neck
" it's fine, forget I asked" I say clearly embarrassed by his response
" no Cara-" he starts but I cut him off with a kiss
" it's fine" I say clearly lying
" Do you wanna get pizza tomorrow after school?" I ask
" can't, I have a game" he replies
" oh, right" I reply
" you coming to it?" He asks
" no, I have to finish this project with Jade" I lie
" oh okay, well then I'll stop by after the game" he says and I smile
The next day

" soooo, how's lover boy?" Jade asks and I roll my eyes and shut my locker
" oh come on! I need details!" She yells and I smack my hand over her mouth
" shhh! I'll tell you in class" I say and she wiggles her eyebrows as we begin to walk down the hall to class
I look down at my books and I realize I forgot my calculator
" oh shit, I'll be right back I forgot my calculator." I say and I let out an aggravated sigh
" okay, meet me in class" She says and I nod and turn around and speed walk to my locker
I put in my combo and open my locker, I reach at the top shelf for my calculator and end up dropping papers from my binder
" you're kidding" I say annoyed as I reach down to grab them but someone beats me to it and helps me pick them up
" oh, thank y-" I start but stop once I realize it's Mike
I snatch my papers from him and shut my locker and begin to walk away
" Cara"
" Cara wait up"
He demands
" please stop talking to me" I beg as I walk down the hallway
I hear his heavy footsteps run and catch up next to me
" Cara can we talk?" He asks and I ignore him
" Cara please" he begs
" you already did yesterday, remember?" I say annoyed as I continue to look forward
" Cara just give me two seconds" he says but I ignore him
Suddenly his tight grip grabs my arm and turns me to face him

" Bro we're gonna be late again" Olly says while laughing
" Mrs. Berns might kill us" I reply as I laugh
" oh shit. Now Mike's tryna get in Cara's pants too?" Olly asks and I stop laughing and follow his gaze down the hall and see Cara and Mike talking all the way on the other side of the hallway.
I clench my fists at my side as I watch them, Mike is holding Cara's arm and they're talking calmly.
What the fuck.

" Mike let me go!" I yell and he shushes me
" don't yell. We're gonna get in trouble" he whispers
" god I hate you so much right now" I whisper
" can I just explain myself?" He asks and I roll my eyes
" let me go Mike" I plead as I attempt to pull away from his grip
" We're gonna be late to class" I say again and I finally pull away from his grip and walk away
" Cara!" He calls behind me and I flip him off as I continue to walk to class

" oh shit, I wonder why she flipped him off" Olly asks while laughing and I smirk to myself
" no clue"
" okay let's go to class before we get detention" he says as he starts walking to Algebra and I follow

I just need Cameron right now, I need to get stuff off my chest
I continue to walk to class until something catches my eye, I look up and see Olly walking to class and behind him is Cam
" Cameron" I say relieved
Olly sends an odd glare my way then he looks back at cam
" oh, hey- buddy" Cameron says awkwardly and I furrow my eyebrows until I understand
He still doesn't want people to know
I've already had an eventful morning and I can't stand anymore before I lose my mind.
I scoff and I'm at a loss for words, we get to Mrs. Berns class as the bell rings and Olly walks in first then me then Cameron
" Cameron.. Cara, you're late. Principal's office now" she says and I laugh
" wow, my day literally could not get any worse" I say
" how?? Olly just walked in with us?" Cameron asked
" he walked as the bell rang, you two came after"
I roll my eyes and open the door and walk out to the hallway, I begin walking to Mr. Brown's office
I hear the door open behind me and then I hear footsteps coming close to me
" hey slow down there tiger" Cameron says as he reaches for my hand but I pull it away and continue walking
" Cara babe, you're not mad are you?" He asks and I shake my head and scoff
" babe"
" babyyyyy"
" Cara"
He suddenly grabs me by my waist and pushes me against the wall
" Cameron get off someone's going to see us" I plead
" so?" He asks as he smirks
" it'll ruin your reputation. Can't be seen with me, remember?" I ask and he's at a loss for words.
" ridiculous" I mumble as I move his hands off of me and continue walking.
" Cara come on" he grabs my hand and spins me around and I face him
" it's not like that. It's just that- I've never really been this serious about a girl and I don't know how to feel" he says and my face softens
" you're serious about me?" I ask and he smiles
" I am" he confirms and I smile
" I've just had the worst morning and you saying that just made it 10 times better" I say and he beams at me
" I really like you Cara" he says and he places his hands gently around my waist
He leans in and kisses me softly, I wrap my hands around the nape of his neck and I gently grip his hair
He moves his hands down to my ass and grips it roughly and a moan escapes my lips. I pull away and smack my hand over my mouth
" woah. That was hot" he says and my face heats up and I can feel how red I am
" we should get to Mr. Brown's" I say as I turn around to walk and he laughs as he follows
