On the first page of our story, the future seemed so bright. Then this thing turned out so evil. I don't know why I'm still surprised.

"Today we'll be partens." said Felix happily and kissed me. "Yes." I replied and kissed him back.
We drove to a orphanage and a woman opened the door for us. "Me and my husband would like to adopt two children." I said. "Of course." she replied and let us in. I saw a girl with light blonde hair. She was wearing a oversized hoddie and black ripped jeans. She was holding a baby in her arms.

"This is Jessica and her little sister Elizabeth." said Julia. "I'm Adam and this is my husband Felix." I replied. "Nice to meet you two." she said.
"Poor thing, she has been through a lot." replied Julia. "What happened?" I asked worried. "Jessie's father abused both her and her mom. She saw her mom being killed by her father, after her sister's birth. She was bullied at school and she has an eating disorder." said Julia. "We will take very good care of them." I replied.
"Lizzie, we'll get a new home." said Jessie. Her sister smiled in her sleep. "I love you." she whispered. "You're a wonderful sister to her." said Felix. "Thank you." she replied. "You don't have to be afraid, you are safe now." he said. "I feel safe with you two." replied Jess with a smile on her face.

"Thanks mom." I said and hung up. I went back to the kitchen and Jessie had split out her water all over the table. She hadn't eaten her food.
"I didn't mean it." she said. "Don't worry." I replied and dried with a cloth. "Are you going to hurt me?" asked Jessie. "I would never hurt you." I said. "Father used to beat me when I had done something that annoyed him." she replied. "You are safe here, I don't let anything happen to you." I said. "Dad." she replied and hugged me. "Me and Felix love you and Liz so much." I said and kissed the top of her head. "I love you too." replied Jess.

I'm glad Adam and Felix adopted Jessie and Lizzie.
