i was walking in nyc with my bestfriends, carter, and aspyn. i was walking with them peacefully through a park we've always hung out at since we were young.

"scar, we're gonna go set up a spot over there."
"okay aspyn, ima just walk for a little." i responded to aspyn.
"okay girly."

i walked away, taking in the smell of nyc. i was walking until someone bumped into me knocking me straight on my ass.

"o-oh i'm so so-sorry." this beautiful man said to me.
"hey no worries right?" he helped me up and when i say he was attractive, he was very attractive.
"are you here alone?" he asked me.
"um no but i kinda wanted to get away for a little. what's your name?"
"troy, and you?"
"scarlett." i smiled shyly.
"your beautiful scarlett." his words instantly made me blushed.

we ended up walking around with eachother and exchanged numbers.
"i gotta go troy, but i'll text you later."
"bye scarlett."
i walked back over to aspyn and carter. i told them my mom wanted me home, which was a lie but i wanted to text him in peace.

i drove home and crashed on my bed. i figured this was the right time to text him.
