As usual I get up to go get Noell ready for school. Today she was already up and making her bed I was so super proud of the big girl my baby is becoming.
"Hey baby once you get done in here go downstairs and eat your breakfast your dad made" I said
"Yes ma'am" she said running past me
She is starting to look just like her biological dad and it's crazy. She has met him twice before but she was only 3 & 4. She has seen him in pictures after that but never asked about him. I only allow his parents to see her 3 times a year. On her birthday, Christmas, and Easter. Only this year for her birthday her dad would be out of jail. I'm really torn between what I want to do. His mom Sharon called me and asked could they come see her I said I'll have to think about. This is only because I'm about to pop and don't need any extra stress on my plate. I put her 4 outfits out on her bed for her to choose from when she gets back in here. I went to use the restroom when I heard her call me back in the room.
"Yes baby what is it" I said
"Will Granny Sha & PawPaw Mac come see us for Christmas" she said
"Yeah baby they will and I heard they got a lot of gifts for you only if you're good" I said
"Okay good well tell them I have been extra good" she said laughing
"Okay baby I will" I said walking out her room and into me and Dave's room
"Ma what's wrong" Dave said
"Noell asked about Sha and Mac" I said sitting on the bed
"Well what she say" he said sitting next to me
"She asked were they coming to see her on Christmas. I just couldn't tell her no the way she looked at me. Like baby and then they called me yesterday and asked me the same thing. I can't deny them from the one and only grandchild but I'm really just not ready then he's getting outta jail before Noell's birthday." I said holding back tears
"It's okay baby calm down no matter how hard it is that's still their grandchild. Even though you don't want to see him that's still his child but I'm not saying what he did was right on any level I'm saying at the end of the day you got a beautiful prize and that was our babygirl. Don't hold a grudge on them for what he did let him suffer not them." Dave said holding me in his arms
"Mommy and Daddy I'm ready for school" we heard Elle yell from outside the door
"Okay daddy gonna take you to school" Dave said picking Elle up in the air
"Bye baby have fun" I said while giving her a kiss
"Daddy can't get a kiss" Dave said poking his lip out
"You can get some more lips" I said
"Where can daddy get some more lips from" Elle said laughing
"From the cat" I said winking at Dave
"Umm okay well let's hurry up and get you to school so I can come back to mommy and help her out" Dave said walking downstairs with Elle in his hands.
"So I'm back I can get some lips now" Dave said walking into the room
"No sir you can't" I said laughing
"Bet I'll remember that" he said walking out the room

Me: Hey Mama Sha
Mama Sha: Hey baby good to hear from you again
Me: umm well i just called to tell you that you guise can come out here to North Carolina for Christmas
Mama Sha: awwee thank you so much
Me: You Welcome there will be a car to pick you up and take you to the airport on December the 20th
Mama Sha: awe you didn't have to do all this i could've did it
Me: its fine it's my pleasure but i'll talk to you later
Mama Sha: alright talk to you later
"so was it as bad as you thought" Dave said walking back in
"no but it's just something is off" i said
"it's all gonna be okay" Dave
