All Ella could say was "yeah" when the woman looked to her for appreciation and excitement, and all she thought about was how much she wanted to leave this conversation to talk with someone else about anything else but a damn pasta maker. She would rather talk about theories for the Earth now that there was no pollution spinning around in the air they lived and breathed in and she would be so much more intrigued than she was right now standing here with this woman. She wished she was talking to the people Glenn spoke to instead. If this lady could talk about something else, her soul would be healed from this scar of a conversation.

Ella glanced around tbe room to see Yasmin leaving a sad looking Gerard by himself. She stared at him until he finally looked up and gazed at her. Ella mouthed the words of "save me". He glanced at Yasmin walking out the door then tk Ella. He began to walk towards Ella and the pasta maker loving woman. Ella found herself to be relieved when he was actually approaching her to save her from the pasta woman's treacherous conversation of pasta.

Gerard grabbed Ella's arm. "Mind if I take her from you?" he asked the woman.

"Oh! Take her away, that's fine with me." she glared.

He smiled at her with his teeth showing. "Great." he guided Ella away from the boring woman and to an unoccupied window in the house. "It was that bad, huh?" he asked Ella, glancing out the window to see Yasmin was leaving the house party to go to bed.

"Oh my God, yes. She would just not stop talking about some damn pasta maker. I wanted to just tell her to shut up and talk about something else, but that would mean of me if I actually said that." she sighed. "Man, I hope someone gets her a pasta maker," she shook her head. She looked at Gerard staring out the window. "You okay?" she asked him, narrowing her eyes at him.

He sighed out loud. "Yeah, I am."

"Trouble with Yasmin?"

"Yeah, she broke up with me. Said that us staying here isn't smart and that we should leave. I told her 'no'. She told me that Negan might find us here. I told her 'he's not going to find us here'. She said that she was leaving with or without me. I told her to 'just stop'. She said 'shut up for a moment'. I said nothing. Then she said that she was going to be gone by the morning and that I needed to 'choose her or Alexandria'. I told her 'I choose Alexandria'. Then she left." he whispered.

Ella lifted her eyebrows. "Wow, uh, I almost forgot you guys were running from someone. Why didn't you leave after you found Harley?" she questioned him.

"Thought that being with you guys was smarter than running from him all the time. If he found us, I think you guys and us would've killed him and his men for threatening us. But now, I think Alexandria is the smart move even if some of us don't think so." he replied.

Ella looked out the window with him, nodding at what he said. She saw Michonne and Abraham out there talking about something. "Yeah, I think you made the best decision you possibly could, Gerard." she gave him a smile for reassurance.

"Did I, now?"

"Yeah."

"She made it seem like it wasn't."

"Well, it was. Don't listen to her." she sighed.

"Okay."

Ella glanced at Noah and Harley. "Is she leaving, too?"

Gerard looked at the girl. "Harley? No. No. She doesn't want to leave."

"I'm glad. I think Noah likes her a lot."

Gerard chuckled. "Really?"

"Are you saying you haven't noticed?"

"Yes."

"Man, take a closer look and watch how he looks at her whenever she speaks." she laughed.

GLENN AND ELLA ended up leaving the party earlier than most, if not all, of their friends to be alone for a little bit. Ella kicked off her shoes the moment the door opened and sat down on the couch, stretching her body. Glenn sat down next to her, putting an arm around Ella and gazing at the fireplace in front of them. Ella glanced around the living room to see they were completely alone here since there were no blankets or pillows out on the floor of the living room.

Ella stretched her torso down to her toes to stretch some more. "Did you like the party?" Ella asked Glenn. "Have fun talking away the night?"

"For the most part, yeah. It was kind of boring and exhausting just standing there and laughing at what someone joked about though," he looked at her. "I don't think I ever want to go to another party here ever again."

"Me neither. I was talking to a woman about a freaking pasta maker almost the entire night. She was absolutely livid when I left the conversation, I don't even know why because I barely even spoke more than a few words." Ella rubbed her feet.

Glenn chuckled. "That sounds awful."

"It was." Ella rolled her eyes. She sat back up and laid against the couch.

Glenn cupped her face with one hand and brought her in for a kiss. "I love you." he whispered once he pulled away.

Ella became giddy when he spoke those words. She smiled happily at him. "I love you, too." she kissed him again then pulled away, only for Glenn to pull her in for another kiss.
