SILENCE ONLY FOLLOWED the pair as they traveled down the road. They hadn't found Daryl nor Beth when the sun rose, those two were long gone going to who knew where. They lost those two, wherever they were, they could only hope that they were safe and they would find them again. Ella sliced her arm open earlier on a rock when they were running away from another herd of walkers, so now she was wrapping it up as they walked.

With no weapons but their knives, no Daryl, it was going to be hell of a lot harder to survive on their own. Brandon didn't even have his backpack of supplies for he had left it in one of the other rooms. Now, they only had Ella's backpack of supplies which was now dangerously close to running low. Ella's mind was now on finding a neighborhood and ransacking each house to maybe find some kind of supplies.

Her mind was not in the mood for talking right now. Her mind had to stay focused on two goals: find everyone else and get some supplies. It didn't seem like Brandon wanted to talk either after they had a very eventful day today. Only surviving and hoping for the best is what they were doing today.

Ella walked past a sign, completely ignoring it. Brandon on the other hand stopped and looked at it. His eyes reading each word like his life depended on it. Ella didn't hear him following her, so she deeply exhaled and turned to see that he was reading the sign. "What are you doing? We need to keep pushing forward, Brandon."

"It says there's a sanctuary in this place called Terminus. We just need to-" he began to explain.

Ella snapped, "There's no sanctuary! None of our people are going to be throwing themselves at this place. They're not dumb like you're being right now!" she turned around and continued. When he still didn't follow her, she turned around. "Standing there isn't going to find Maggie who may as well be fucking dead!" she screamed at him.

He tensed up, clenching his jaw. "Maggie isn't fucking dead."

Ella laughed. "Have you seen any signs from her? From Daryl? From Glenn? From Carl? From Michonne? From Tyreese? From anyone?" she approached him. "No? Then they're probably fucking dead, Brandon! Get that through your head. We're never going to find them!" she cried. "They're dead. We're the only people we have left. It's you and me now, okay?" her eyes stung badly. They were filled with tears. Ever since they lost Daryl and Beth, Ella came to terms that everyone was dead.

Brandon swallowed thickly. "Have some damn hope in your life," he pushed past her. "If you had some maybe your father and your friends from Atlanta wouldn't be dead." he sourly spoke.

Ella froze. "Oh. I could say the same for you. Having too much hope killed everyone at the prison. It killed Maggie. So there's that." she shot back at him.
