S2 • I Didn't Want To Remember You

She locked herself in her room, not moving from the moment she sat on her bed.

She wondered what would happen if they found her, would they immediately take her back? But since she was of age would they let her stay?

She was terrified of the answer.

She knew eventually she would go back and face her past, but not this soon.

She felt waves of emotions pass through her body, memories of people she left behind tattooed to her mind.

But one stuck out.

Taehyung.

It's been so long since she's vividly thought about him.

His dark brown hair, how it waved against his forehead, she wondered if he left it brown after all this time. His chestnut eyes, how they had so much emotion stained to them. She remembers his chiseled features, his lips and jaw, his beautiful smile. She wondered if he hates her, is he is holding a grudge against her. It hurts to think he might, no matter how long she's been away, the pain may never go away.

She remembers that night, the night she left. The time when she was writing her goodbye letter outside his door, she vividly remembers how heavy her heart as she was writing goodbye. And when she left it at his door step, tears streamed her cheeks.

Now she doesn't know if the pain she felt was because of her family, or the fact she was going to leave him behind.

She misses him.

She misses him horribly.

For the past years she managed to focus elsewhere, but she knew Taehyung would never leave her heart.

After all...

He was her first friend.

Do I still exist in your mind Taehyung? Do you still remember me?

This is why I didn't want to remember you tae, even when miles and years have past I still want to be near you.

Why did I have to leave you to leave my pain behind?
