He is the rock that I broke myself upon; the waves that come crashing down on me. He is the heroin that runs through my veins and the pills held tightly in my grasp. He is the breath on the back of my neck; the chills that convulse up and down my spine. I'm addicted to that which causes me pain but I can't let him go. Letting go would be like giving up and I need something to hold on to.
