Chapter 13

It's been a few days now.
Hershel survived. Most of the prisoners didn't though they were still bad people. Everyone's been a huge help, and we're so happy that the babies are healthy.
I'm currently walking outside with Mick, while Randal is holding Dylan.
Mick has Shane's eyes, and hair. While the rest of his features are of me. And Dylan has my eyes and my hair while the rest of his features are of Shane, which I find to be extremely cute. They both have a perfect mixture of both Shane and I. Rick Shane and Daryl, and Glenn are down by the fence fixing it up.
I walk over to Beth and she coos at little Mick.
I glance over to Randal and he has a huge smile on his face bouncing Dylan in his arms.
Everything seemed so perfect in that moment. That was until Carl screamed out walkers.
"Walkers!" Beth and Hershel pilled me into the caged fence area as Randal tried to make it to us. "Randal! Dylan!" I yell out.
My dad Daryl Shane and Glenn finally get here and start taking out walkers. Shane runs to Randal and hands him his gun but takes Dylan from his arms
"Shane!" I yell with tears in my eyes and they are getting surrounded. They take off towards inside the prison Randal shooting as many walkers as he can.
Then these sirens go off.
Mick is screaming.
I'm in tears scared for my babies and friends. I put Mick inside my shirt for him to nurse, that quiets him fast.
Beth Hershel and I sat in that cage for what felt like forever.
Finally people started coming over.
I open the cage and run to my dad and hug him. He kissed both mine and Micks forehead.
I then run over and hug Daryl. Then I run over and hug Glenn tightly.
Glenn chuckles and whispers "it's ok Harp, I got you"
"Where is everyone?" Beth asks.
"Ts gone, as well as carol." Daryl replies.
"What about Shane Randal and dylan? Did you see them?! Where r they!" I shout.
"Ha-" Glenn starts but then we hear a baby. I twirl around to see Maggie Carl and a baby but not my mom...
"M-mom?" I ask.
"We got her to a cell but s-she didn't make it" Maggie cried out.
"I go to hug Carl but he doesn't let me, he just shrugs away.
My mom is dead. I never would have thought.
She hated me blamed me for taking Shane.
And now I have to live with the fact that my mother hated me.
"Did, did u guys see Shane and Randal?"
"No." Maggie says.
"Harper." Glenn says.
"Yes glenn?" I ask looking at him now.
"I -I found Shane's gun... and well Dylan's Binky" I stumbled back a bit, processing what I was just told.
"No...."
"Harp come ere" Daryl says as he hugs me. I start to cry. I lost the love of my life, my bestfriend, my child and my mom all in one day.
After awhile Daryl left with Maggie for some more formula. As I just sat on the tables. Beth took Mick. I wanted to be alone.
"Harper."
"Yeah dad"
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for today. I lost my wife, but you lost your boyfriend, your child, your mother and your bestfriend. I can only imagine how you feel."
"Daddy" I cry out and hug him. I cried on his shoulders for hours. I must have fallen asleep because I woke up in my cell. Shane and I's cell. The one he made for us. The one he made two cells into one. I sit up on the bed and hold onto my heart/rose necklace as I look around and see his clothes strewn around the floor all his weapons and stuff. I just can't believe Shane is gone. He's gone.
My baby he's gone.
I really did loose almost my whole world. If it wasn't for mick, it be gone too. But there's one thing I know. One thing Shane and Randal would have wanted from me.
They would want me to move on.
They wouldn't want me to mope and be a baby. They'd want me to be strong.
And that's what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna be strong. For Shane for Dylan and for Randal. I'm going to protect Mick with my life.
While I'm deep in thought I heard someone come up to my cell and say...
"Harper ?"
