I wrote this essay in July of 2019 and entered it into a writing competition held by Amnesty International South Africa. The topic was: "Taking Injustice Personally". I had no expectations, I just poured my heart out and let the words flow. To my surprise, I came 1st place.
My heart behind this piece of writing is that it will allow people to view the Earth from a different perspective and that they would reflect on their own lives, evaluating their relationship with the Earth.
