AFTER LAKYN WALKED off he went over to Eden, they started talking and though what they were conversing about was inaudible, she seemed pleased by his sudden presence and they dived into a conversation immediately.

I didn't want to watch, I just wanted Lakyn to get to the point already, so I didn't have to see her around anymore. Lakyn is a mean person, I can only imagine what he'll say once he actually gets her. But, I know it'll be enough for her to transfer to another school; hopefully back to her old school in Pennsylvania.

I don't care where it is, as long as it is far from here.

Then I returned back to Connor and Blaire, whom seemed to actually be talking finally. They were an obscure couple, he was such a nerd and she was well. . .rather slow. Not that that is wrong by any means, I just can't imagine them together.

It seems as though they don't have much in common, they also just seem very awkward and unnatural, which is strange because Blaire is usually relatively out going, she's pretty and more experienced than Connor, if I was her I'd go for it. But then again, Connor is an internet creep; maybe she's waiting to make sure he doesn't just want nudes.

It's so strange how society is in this era. It's all about social media, no one cares about their real life just how many likes they get on Instagram or how many followers they have. I have an undoubtably high following and my DM's are full, but it really doesn't excite me quite like it does to others.

I'm more worried about how I look in real life than a picture.

After a short amount of time passed, the bell went and I was extremely thankful. Today seemed to be dragging out more than other days, and to say I was bored would be an extreme understatement, my cramps feeling like they're tearing my stomach in half and I just wanted to have a hot shower and an early night.

Which brings me to now, in the cafeteria awaiting my well needed lunch whilst I observed the others occupying the spacious area.

I noticed Eden was at my table, which was a letdown considering she hasn't sat there the past day or two, but obviously Hale decided to drag her over. Lakyn was there too, sipping on a can of coke whilst he glared at his best friend whom was conversing with Eden. Probably because he has something to say but his talkative friend won't allow him to.

I'd have to say that Dayton Academy's social hierarchy wasn't as cliché and stereotypical as other schools; we don't have the typical nerds at a table with their mathematics books in front of them whilst they wore black rimmed glasses, we don't have a table of immodest cheerleaders—mainly because we don't have a cheer team at all at our school—and we don't have goth/emo teens with black lipstick and piercings either.

I'd say that our table seating system was relatively neutral.

Hale, Lakyn, Blaire—and now Eden too—and I, all sit in the rectangular table in the very center, then everyone else is scattered around.

The only stereotypical-ish table is the one at the back, it's the biggest table and it's where all the lacrosse players seat, excluding Lakyn and Hale, obviously. As well as a few girls that they've got wrapped around their fingers. Arden sits there too.

"Lila," Blaire pulled me out of my thoughts. I snapped my head in her direction, seeing that I was officially at the front of the line and it was my turn to order my lunch, "It's your turn to order." she stated the obvious.

I chose not to respond as I told the middle-aged lunch lady what I wanted, though she didn't really need me to tell her because she knows exactly what I order each day and she also knows what will happen if she gets it incorrect.
