After the death of the King and Queen and as the first prince rules, all pathways were destroyed... burned to ashes.

         All except for one.

At the highest room of the palace where the stars shroud over, Eilfir's main portal still exists and functions well. Before, it was used by royalties, by the King and Queen to be exact, to move in one world to another. But to this day, nobody in the palace had dared to take a step to it.

The King forbid it. It was the only heavy guarded place in the kingdom, perhaps, twenty palace guards roam to secure it... to watch over it. It was enveloped inside with a door made up of the strongest metal in the realm—vibranium.

Little did they know, another portal lies at the hideous place in the realm.

At the outskirt of Eilfir —sorcerers were gathered for a meeting in the dawn of the night. Red cloaks with gold embroider covered them, their face was almost hidden, a glimpse of skin showed.

It wasn't just a simple meeting, perhaps, it's a secret gathering neither the King is knowledgeable about. After the King ruled to destroy all portals into ashes, they formed an alliance and an agreement. During every ninth full moon in every seven months, they would gather and exercise the use of power and magic.

They strengthen the use of sorcery. Find formulas. Look for alternative pathways that are safer and does not alter the time continuum of the universe. No one knew about this, even the royalties. It was smartly hidden from everyone and the sorcerers bound to never talk a word about it.

For them, it wasn't treason. They opted to protect their home and that is how they function... sorcerers. They knew the King strictly forbids it but they would not stand a chance to be blinded by his own rules. There are unknown forces lurking outside the boundaries, waiting to be discovered and without anyone's knowledge, at a certain day, they might be attacked and chaos will prevail and no one's had seen it coming. Namjoon maybe closed-minded at times, but it is what the sorcerers had planned to do.

After a sparring practice, Jimin stayed all night awake, unable to sleep. He moved from one place to another inside the palace's chambers and the last place he was in was the balcony. He could view the entire kingdom from above and exactly, as the moon reached its highest peak, trail of red light shown. It wasn't glimmering lights, instead, they are torches... red cloaks... walking in line...

It was when curiosity struck him. He waited and calculated whenever the cloaked forms appear, at the same balcony, and he had assumed it was once every seven months—and he was right.

One night, as the pillars stood tall and gigantic, Jimin hid in the shadows, carefully straying out from anyone's sight—he managed to keep his breathing low and his footsteps light and as he eavesdropped, the meeting began. He had followed them.
