My eyes shot open and I immediately noticed the bed next to me was empty. I sighed quietly and got up, going to find my lover. It was rare for dewdrop to sleep through the entire night, so when he can't sleep he will typically eat an entire pizza, or binge watch at least one season of a tv show. As I got closer to the living room, I noticed no lights on, and the only thing that could be heard was a crinkling noise. I furrowed my eyebrows.
What the hell could he possibly be doing?
My question was answered when I flicked on the light switch. There he was, sitting on the floor, eating a whole roll of wrapping paper, cardboard tube and all!
"Dew, what the hell?" I asked quietly, trying not to wake anyone else.
"What? I wanted a snack," he shrugged and tore off another bite,as if he was chewing simply a banana.
"Theres a pantry and fridge stocked with snacks!" I exclaimed.
"Sometimes you gotta spice it up a bit."
