i.e. After being cast out of his home by Rafael, he took to the sea and found the Argo II. With help from The Mist, he manipulated the crews mind, altering their memory so he appeared as a long time crewman.

i.e. After growing up listening to his grandfathers stories about Revocatus he set out jokingly to find it, not expecting to actually find it.
