i loved writing about imogen and jacob, mainly because i had imogen take after my personality so it was easy to write about her and her actions. however, after imogen and jacob finally got together, i was really stumped on what to do about their story. what i had planned out was: • i imagined both imogen and jacob would be very cautious about bella rushing to save edward • imogen finally meeting the pack would be really cute • paul would tease them a lot • i thought she would get along the best with quil just to make jacob a little jealous • imogen would blend in with the pack perfectly • sam would still be a little guilt ridden over her previous bullying that took place in la push • imogen would probably see the boys who bullied her when she was walking with jacob, and she would get very disheartened • jacob would be furious at the guys who hurt imogen • sam would warn him not to do anything stupid • we all know jacob, so, he definitely didn't follow orders • he confronted the bullies and they defended themselves, twisting the story to make it look like imogen was the one asking for it • jacob got into a physical altercation with them • imogen would be grateful that jacob stood up for her but she would be upset that he got himself into trouble • she could stand up for herself and she planned on doing so by becoming a successful woman while they got dead end jobs in the town they swore they would leave • despite her emotions, she and jacob find a way to make it work • jacob promises he won't let his anger get in the way of imogen's feelings • imogen is very upset with the cullens' return to forks • she doesn't forgive edward for ditching bella • edward understands, and he thanks imogen for being a good friend to bella while he was away • she doesn't care what edward thinks • when graduation rolls around, imogen knows where she's going to go to college but she doesn't tell anyone, not even jacob • angela is the one who finally gets it out of her • imogen doesn't take part in the war against the newborns • bella wants her to be safe and sound and so does jacob • imogen is in charge of making sure none of the townspeople suspect anything is going on • she actively helps the police department to make sure they don't head up to the area of the fight • cute scenes between her and charlie • despite still being bitter over edward leaving bella, she becomes bella's maid of honor • jacob is very reluctant about attending the wedding • imogen gets seth to convince him • when bella and edward are on their honeymoon, the pack is on edge over her fate • imogen tries to lift the mood by planning a cute party to celebrate claire's birthday • however, jacob wants to know where she's going to college • imogen insists he doesn't need to know • jacob thinks she's crazy • this results in a big fight • he learns that the only reason she doesn't want to tell him is because once she does, everything becomes real and she won't see him as much as she wants to anymore • jacob comforts her and she tells him she'll be leaving soon for uc berkeley (go bears!) • imogen leaves town before bella and edward return • when she gets a frantic call from edward asking her to make bella come to her senses, she returns to forks to figure out what's going on • she is very affected by bella's current state • she begs bella not to let herself die • bella asks imogen to take care of the baby in case anything happens to her • when jacob learns his imprint is back in town and with the cullens, he rushes to their house immediately • there, he finds his imprint and a pregnant bella • before jacob can jump to conclusions, imogen pleads with him to save bella's life from the pack • yadda yadda, insert *fight with pack* and *jacob leaves to make a new pack* • imogen takes medical leave from school at the height of bella's pregnancy • when bella gives birth, imogen takes care of renesmee as her own • the pack rescinds since renesmee is now in the care of jacob and imogen and technically, now a pack member • imogen returns to school when bella finally wakes up • i didn't imagine much for her during the rest of breaking dawn • when she finishes college, she returns to forks and starts a life with jacob • i think they would have left la push shortly after they got married • maybe follow the cullens to wherever they moved next and reside permanently there • i always thought of imogen as a badass ceo at a big company • it's what she deserves • i think she and jacob would have a girl and a boy • live happily ever after
