Also. LilMissCakes previously mentioned something that I found really important. That it seems as if in every important moment in a black girls life, it seems as if kinky hair is not seen as beautiful. But since we are out here breaking stigmas... I thought I'd change it up. So thanks LilMissCakes for bringing it up.

Douglas Coleman's POV

"So you're trying to tell me... That there is gonna be about 700 plus people at this event?! That's huge!" I hear Temah exclaim.

"Yeah, that's what Bryce told me" I hear Crystal's voice respond.

I've just taken a shower and cleaned up so I'm feeling energetic.

I reach the bottom of the stairs and head to the kitchen.

Temah has her back to me and I stop to watch her.

Has her ass gotten bigger?

And are those my basketball shorts?

Crystal catches sight of me, from where she is standing.

She's about to speak, but I quickly hold a finger up to my lips.

Crystal's eyes hold recognition.

Then mischief.

She knows what I'm about to do.

I sneak up behind my girlfriend and clench my hand into a fist.

Hm, she smells good.

Is that my soap?

I pull my fist all the way back and swing it forwards until I punch Temah's ass.

Hard.

"Aiii!" She yells, holding her ass and kneeling forwards.

I fall about laughing at the look on her face.

She glares up at me.

"Douglas!" She whines.

I laugh harder and she gets up.

"Babe, what was that for?!" She asks me.

I let my laughter die down and I just shrug at her.

"I just felt like it" I tell her.

She pouts, still rubbing the area I punched.

"Aw, C'mere" I tell her leaning towards her, feeling a little bad.

She ducks out of the way.

"Nope" she says.

I look at her.

"Why?" I ask her, trying to hug her.

"Cause Karma is a bitch" Temah tells me, flipping me a bird.

I chuckle and try to kiss her again.

She ducks once again and side steps me.

Nope.

I grab her arm, bend down and pull her into my shoulder, while she is standing upright so that I'm lifting her off of the ground.

"Douglas, put me down!" She squeals and Crystal laughs loudly.

"Douglas!" She yells.

I say nothing, my arm clasped around her legs to keep them still.
