I'm thrown upon the ground, struggling to catch my breath. I hear screaming, and a terrible tearing noise.
"Pick her up and run!" A desperate, young voice yells. It's Lily. I feel Elliot scoop me up and run through the door.
The next two minutes are the most awkward and the most terrifying I have ever experienced. The boy holding me losing his grip as he runs down a very dodgy spiral staircase. My head nears a handrail, but I can't open my mouth to screech.
I hear howling and ghostly moans.
I'm filled with terror that cuts through to my bone.
