"Hey!" Called Ethan to August over their verandas she was stood listening to the far whisper of the ocean as it crashed upon the beach.

It was early, and she blamed the twins for that because they had somehow seemed to have set her body alarm to much earlier. She was both thankful and envious, especially when they slept in.

"You're up early" Ethan noticed trying to pull her attention away from the landscape but all he got from her was a blink.

At first he wondered if he'd possibly done something wrong to which his heart started to pound, for some reason upsetting her, hurt him.

"August?" He called again "You okay?"

Finally her head turned towards him, she had simply just been in a trance and now looking at the boy next door her heart started to flutter and she couldn't help but be drawn in by his attire.

"You going to the gym?" She questioned with a laugh, it was laughable, who would come on holiday only to do more exercise?

Ethan looked down at his tight fitting shirt and ran both his hands over his protruding pectorals. A smirk emerged on his lips,

"It's a bad habit to not keep yourself healthy. I suggest you come along" Ethan stated looking at the tired girl.

August shook her head, she didn't want to go to the gym but she couldn't deny that she did want to spend more time with him.

"Which gym are you heading for?" She asked propping herself up on the ledge and Ethan scratched the back of his neck anxiously.

"I was hoping you'd be able to show me" he said in a child like manner and even across their distance August could see his puppy dog eyes.

August sighed and pursed her lips, she couldn't help but give into him.

"Give me time to get ready and I'll show you the Hale haʻuki" August pronounced almost expertly, even she was quite proud of herself when it rolled off the tongue.

Ethan cocked his brow in confusion and she let out this angelic laugh that made his heart pound.

"It means the gym" she winked "I'll be out in five"
