I am a fire
Mesmerising and destructive
A constantly burning entity
Bright yet
Painful at the touch
Alive only by the fuel
Hungry
Flames licking for something to consumeSmoke engulfing
Blindfully stinging and choking
Suffocating every victim in reach
Not by intention but due to
Lack of controlI am a fire
Roaring painfully
Melting what isn't meant to be touched
Destroying everything that's reached
No sense of consequence
Invincibly growing yet desiring
To be put outI am a fire
Unnecessarily created for damage
Just because of beauty and warmth
That are just an illusion to a lonely eye
I am a fire
Taking what isn't mine
Raining ashes snowing embers
Tears of a fire
Increasing devastationI am a fire
And playing with fire results in burns
