She's strong, she's tough
A battle hardened warrior
She's brave, she's confident
Refuses to bow her head
To the inferiorsNot afraid of anything
She'll throw the first punch
Doesn't care what they say
She breaks the norms
Paving her own wayButs that is just a version
Hiding in her room
Crying late at night
She's a broken little girl
Locked away in a woman's body
Isolated from social activity
Deaf behind her headphones
She's a scared child
Just trying to avoid the painBut that is just a version
She fights because she hurts
And she wants the pain to cease
She'll throw the first punch
To send out a warning
So that she doesn't get hurt
She holds her head up
Because she's been put down
All her lifeHer confidence is not her character
Her bravery is not from her strengthHer character
Is the confidence
That she can guard herself
Without outside reliance
Her strength
Is from her bravery
To push beyond the limits
Others restricted her toHer true version
Is the version others see
Entwined to the version
She is internally
