"Why would she do that?"

"Because there were parts of me that wanted to die when I turned. The darkest parts of me hated what I was becoming when we didn't have Hope. I was lost and I didn't know who I was."

"Sofia I...I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you." I rest my head on his.

"I'm not the one dying Nik. Cami who is our family is she has a choice to make. We need to support her decision."

"She is not thinking straight. She needs guidance and help."

"Being forced to feed isn't the answer. And I will never agree with you for making her think the same way as you."

Klaus got Freya to spell Cami in her room at the compound so she won't leave. I don't agree with it but right now we have bigger issues especially with Hayley being held prisoner by The Strix. "Two Original vampires and three powerful witches against an army of miscreants. I'm rather looking forward to it." Klaus always seems to find the bright side of fighting his enemies.

"Keep in mind that I am mortal." Vincent states. "As much as I want these guys out of my city, I like breathing. So let me go to the covens. I can propose an alliance. They hate you guys, but if I explain what's going on..."

"They finally give a shit about us?" I state not liking involving the New Orleans witches.

"There's no time." Elijah states.

"There never is." Freya reminds us. "But before we rush into battle, let's keep in mind that Tristan may be the very foe that leads you to your doom. Isn't this exactly what the prophecy foretold? Rebekah's on the run. I will not lose the two of you as well."

"Rebekah is safe." Elijah speaks up but in a whisper. "Brother, perhaps you should stay."

"And what kind of father would I be if I didn't fight for the godmother of my child? No, I have no intention of being outmaneuvered by Tristan de Martel, of all people."

"Intentions got nothing to do with it." Vincent speaks up. "As long as Tristan de Martel has the Serratura, and your baby's godmother. The advantage is all his."

"Then let's take the advantage away from the little shit." Everyone looks to me even Freya. "I'm going to need something that belongs to that yappy ginger whore."

"You mean Aurora?" Elijah asks.

"I know what I said. And I know how to take the advantage away from him."

"Hi, Cami." I greet her while everyone else gets what I need for the spell.

"Have you convinced Freya to let me out?"

"No." She rolls her eyes and ignores me. "My life was in danger all the time when I was human. Hell Klaus was the first person to kill me." She looks at me as I say this. "Each time another force brought me back and I was given a chance to live. Sure I died a few more times. There were even moments I wish I did die. When my baby was taken from me. When I found out Klaus slept with Genevieve. My sister being placed in a sleeping spell. My parents dying. My aunt and my birth father. Hell even when Klaus killed my birth mother. All made me question if this world is worth living. But then something as simple as the laughter of my daughter or the beauty of the world reminds me there is so much worth living for. The darkness will always be there but I have the choice to make good out of the bad."

"Is this your way of telling me to live?" Cami sounds annoyed.

"No this is my way of telling you. I respect your choice and always have and always will. If you choose not to feed I will help make your death as easy as possible. Your my family Cami and I want nothing but the best for you even if it means not having you in my life." I wave my hand the spell locking her in the room disappears. She stands up not sure of what to do. "Klaus rarely cares for people. It was a surprise to me when I shared he fancied me. I didn't believe him and even fought my feelings for him for months. He hates when people leave him. Rather it is by choice or death."

"Sofia I. I understand you want me to live and I..."

"I want you to want to live Cami. If that is not your choice that is fine. Klaus only means good when he wants you to feed. Because that's how much you mean to him. You're family to him and that's something he cherishes more than anything."

"I just don't want a life as a vampire. I want to be me."

"And I respect that if you chose to not feed I will allow that." Cami nods her head and begins to head for the door. "But if you could do me the kindness I would appreciate your help." She looks at me intrigued.

I have Freya and Vincent gathered around as I ready my spell. "You're a Regent to this city, filled with the power of your ancestors. I can channel you, add your power to mine along with Freya." I hold the doll as I ready it for the spell. "And we'll see." Vincent grabs my hand and smirks.

"Fair enough." I place the doll in the bowl and the three of us begin to chant. This spell has to work or we just sent Elijah and Klaus to be tortured.

My spell worked tricking Tristan and The Strix to believe Cami was Aurora and successfully trapping Tristan with the Serratura. Now they have one less thing to use against us.

I'm not sure how I will incorporate Legacies into my story. Still no the fence on what I'll do. Stay tuned.
