"Oh, you will not stay dead."

"Klaus."

"She will pay for her actions. I swear to you!"

"Oh, what's happening to me?" Cami grabs her stomach and I rub her back.

"You're transitioning. That's your veins rubbing together like sandpaper. Your body is telling you to feed." I explain to her as she looks at with tears in her eyes.

"You must feed on blood soon or you will die again, this time for good."

We give her some privacy to wash her blood off her body. "She must feed Sofia. I have to get her some blood and..."

"And you think that's what is best for her?" I ask Klaus who won't stop pacing around the room.

"She is our friend and she..."

"It should be her choice."

"She is not dying!"

"If she doesn't want this life she should have the choice to feed or not."

"What are you saying? She has been there for us through everything and you're just going to give up on her?" Klaus is furious. He doesn't take people close to him leaving his life easily. I understand since he doesn't allow people in easily and when he does he develops a close attachment to them.

"I'm saying I love Cami so much I want to see her happy and...if being a vampire doesn't make her happy I'm not going to force her." Klaus is pissed at me and I understand but that doesn't change my mind.

"You would rather see her dead than fight for her to live."

"What if she has nothing to live for?"

"She has everything! She has us and..."

"And what if that's not enough for her? She deserves to decide for herself if this life we live is one she wants. She needs to decide on her own."

"How is she?" Elijah interrupts us.

"As soon as she feeds her mood will change for the better. In the meantime, these attacks need to be answered" Klaus changes his anger from me and back to The Strix and Aurora. "Our retribution must be swift and it must be brutal."

"Agreed. After the Serratura has been recovered. Freya's pendant is also missing."

"The one that keeps Finn locked inside it?" Elijah nods his head.

"So let the imbecile stay lost. Our business today is to finish off the de Martels..."

"No, brother. Think, think. Tristan needs the most powerful witch in the city to activate that weapon and since Sofia is not a New Orleans witch...he needs a Regent."

"Vincent." Klaus and I say in unison.

"Who was once possessed by Finn." Klaus adds with disgust in his voice as he tries to leave. I stop him.

"No, stay. She needs you both."

"Klaus she's done washing her blood off."

I go in and check on Cami first need to make sure she is okay before Klaus comes in with his negativity. "How did you feel when you died?" I was not prepared for this question.

"Uh, Cami you do..."

"Know I want to know. I...I can't feel this way. I feel like my head is going to explode any second and. I have this hunger for something I shouldn't feel hungry for."

"I didn't know I died when I was carried to the hospital. It felt like the world had come to an end. I believed I had lost everything. What you're feeling right now is fear of what is going to happen. You can make it through this Cami, but only if you want to." I try to assure her.
