Song above is what I imagine would play with the funeral

3rd POV

In Foosha Village a bar has been taken over by a group by a group of thieves drinking away.
"I think you'd had enough today." The green-haired barkeeper said.
"It's Garp!!" Someone yelled from outside.
"Garp is back and he brought his battleship." The woman drinking pushed her chair and left the bar hearing the news.
"I read about the battle in the paper, congratulations on your victory!" One of the villagers said as Garp walked into the city.
"Word travels fast these days huh," Garp said.
"Is Luffy okay?"
"Now that Whitebeard is dead the pirates are out of control. Is that why you'd hear."
"I don't mean to complain but they can invade any second now."
"Now likely. I just suck three of them with cannonballs on the way out here. They were nothing but a bunch of blowhards all bark and no bite. The seas are gonna be tense the world over without Whitebeard to scare off al the thugs. Anyway, I've prepared a little something, see." Garp said pointing at the marines behind him. His men put up a sign saying, "security by Navy Vice Admiral Garp."
"While you're here there's one more problem. A bunch of mountain bandits came down to the village. They took over Marino's bar and they aren't leaving."
"That do." Right on cue, Makino came out of her bar trying to calm down the person inside.
"Hello, Garp. How dare you show your face here after what you've done!" She yelled hitting Garp with her club.
"Back off men, she's a friend."
"The hell I am." She said dropping her club and pinning Garp to the ground. "You were right with them on that battlefield. Those poor kids and you didn't do a damn thing to help them. Why did you have me raise Ace, why did you ask me to watch (__)!! Why did you have me take care of them if it was gonna end this way!!" Dadan yelled crying. "You stood there and watched them die!! You care more about your damn job than your family. Hero of the navy, I hope you're proud of yourself if it was gonna end this way! Say something you bastard! Why didn't you help them why didn't you do something! Look me in right in the face. Answer me, you spineless wretch. Look me in the face damnit." Right before Dadan could punch Garp again Makino hugger her arm stopping her. Dadan finally let go Garp and Makino stood in between them.
"How do you think he feels. He's their grandfather. He's suffering too. He was right there and he couldn't do a thing!"
"You're wrong." Dadan began. "Garp is suffering, no, the only one who's really suffering here is Luffy damnit."

*flashback*

"Okay since you asked so nicely why don't we teach you some manners," Makino said.
"Thank you for the lesson." Ace said bowing.
"Hah, nice one wow," Luffy said.
"You're a little off." (__) said.
"(__) right since we haven't started the lesson yet you should say thank you in advance." Makino explained.
"Really that was wrong. I don't know that sounded really polite to me." Luffy said confused.
"That might be true but it's a special situation so every detail has to be perfect," Makino said. "After all Ace wants to pay respects to a very special captain, a friend of yours."
"You mean Shanks," Luffy asked.
"Yup, but by the time I get to meet him, I'll be a captain myself. As a pirate and as your big brother I gotta thank him for saving your life of we're both gonna end up looking bad."
"Oh, that's so cute Ace." (__) said making Ace blush a little.
"It's not cute it's just what I gotta do!"
"Okay so let's pretend Shanks is here with you right now. What do you say?"
"Hi, I'm Ace. Who the hell are you?"
"No," Makino said crossing her fingers to form an X. "I know you're pirates but I don't think he'll be impressed.
"Yeah, be way more cool," Luffy said excitedly.
"How about be more polite." (__) said sweatdropping.
"Fancy meeting you here."
"Noooo."
"Trash talk trash talk," Luffy whispered.
"Stop giving him ideas." (__) yelled.
"Hey punk what's your deal."
"Noooo."
"Mister what's your deal."
"Noooo."
"Cause he didn't say punk?" Luffy asked and Makino said no again.
"Luffy stop you're distracting poor Ace," Makino said laughing.
"Go be stupid somewhere else we're learning here, you little pest!"
"I'm not distracting. Oh yeah, I found an anaconda nest and they're super huge. Let's grab them and cook them up." Luffy said with a smile.
"What? That sounds awesome." Ace said interested. "No, not right now. I'm gonna learn some manners even if it kills me."
"Now what's the way Ace!" (__) said gibbing him a thumbs up.
"I can't go on my own what if the anaconda's mom finds me."
"I'll go with you then." (__) said.
"Really!?!"
"Hey wait you need to stay here and help me." Ace said grabbing (__) by her arm and pulling her close to him.
"No fair she said she's gonna come with me," Luffy said grabbing her another arm and pulling.
"Hey, I'm not a rag doll!!"

*flashback over*

"Luffy loved Ace and (__) more than anything in the world," Dadan said and Makino ran away crying.
"Hey, Garp what happened to Luffy the newspaper said he went missing after the war." The mayor spoke up.
"That he did. A submarine carried him away. The admirals attacked and tried to stop him from escaping. He's probably alive." Garp explained and the crowd sighed with relief.
"Luffy has been a little moron since the day I met him. No matter what he does I'm always on his side. As much as I'm hurting I know he's got it worse and it breaks my heart. LUFFY!!!! I KNOW THINGS ARE HARD RIGHT NOW BUT DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!!!!"

Meanwhile far away and far along the Grandline in a place known as the New World pirates had gathered on a particular island for the mourning of their lost friends. The pirates were separated into two groups allowing there to be a walking to the burial site. A top of the hill there was three tombstones. Flowers and swords surrounded all three of them. The first one red Portgas D. Ace and had orange carnations on it with an orange hat on top. The one next to it read Edward Newgate. It had white roses on it with his legendary weapon Murakumogiri and his cape hanging on it. The last and finally tombstone read (__). Hers had light pink roses on top of it representing all she brought to the world sweetness, gentleness, and joy. On top of the Bouquet of flowers were her two swords Kusanagi and Chokuto which luckily didn't fall in the sea with her. Standing before the tombstones was a group of pirates no one would ever expect to see together: Marco, Thatch, Izo, Doflamingo, Crocodile, Mihawk, Katakuri, Shanks, Benn, and Yasopp. The flowers all blew in the wind as they all stared at the tombstones remembering their favorite memories with the person they lost.
Mihawk remembered that smile he loved so much as he held his bracelet in his hand. He remembered the way she looked when she gave it to him and how happy she was when he gave her the necklace. He remembered that time they had a picnic together and the times they went to town together.
Doflamingo recalled all the times he played or teased her and how mad she would get when he would do something like. He remembered every angry expression she made and how flushed her face would get. He remembered her fiery attitude and then he remembered her beautiful smile. As he stared at the tombstone, for the first time in a while Doflamingo wasn't smiling. He had no expression on his face. "She'll never yell at me again."
Crocodile remembered the first time he met the fiesty girl. How he was surprised by her strength when he saw her beat up a group of pirates like it was nothing. How she treated him like a normal person even though he wasn't. And finally, he remembered her touch. The feel of her soft delicate skin on his, and he realized that he'll never feel her again. She was gone now.
Marco and Thatch recalled the first time she came aboard the Moby Dick and how much fun they had that first night. They remembered how happy Ace was to see her again. They remembered all the bad time in which Ace would get them in some trouble and how mad (__) would get. They remembered their smiling faces anytime they played a game. They both brought life to the Moby Dick and it would not be the same without them in it.
Katakuri with a white rose in hand placed it on the center of the Bouquet of roses. As he did memories of the time he spent with the (h/c) haired girl flowed through his mind. Her smile seemed to light up the dark world he lived in. She was the first person to actually want to be his friend. The first person to accept him, all of him, even his face which he hid from everyone including his family. To him, she truly was a goddess, so kind and so elegant. She had the power to make anyone she met love her unconditionally. She was different than any other person out there and the proof was right here. All the different and strongest pirates in the world who should be enemies all came together peacefully to mourn her passing.
"Thanks Shanks, I don't know how to thank you enough," Marco whispered.
"No need to make a big deal out of it. We couldn't even get (__) and Ace's bodies." Shanks said and then covered his face with his hand. A single teardrop rolled down his cheek but he quickly wiped it away. "Come on let's go, guys," Shanks said as he walked away but he couldn't help remembering all the times he spent with her. The parties they had together and how (__) would yell at him for drinking too much. All the times they landed on a new land and she was always the one who was most excited. And the times how at night she would beg him to read to her a fairytale story. He remembered her excitement when he heard every line and how she would sometimes fall asleep in his arms. And when that would happen he would have a small smile on his face as he watched her sleep. During those times it seemed she would never be gone, that those fun times would always last, and that he would always be able to hold his dear sister close to him.
"I just wish I could have protected you, my little sister."
