This is what he wears when he wants to blow off steam, he doesnt notice but Roman gets starry eued over him and often freezes up as he watched Virgil work with his twin blades (daggers, knifes etc)

Alternatively: When he goes to keep an eye on Roman he wears full out bubonic plague doctor clothes. Its mostly to freak him out but its also funny to see Roman's subjects freak out when they see a plauge doctor following their king around.
