painful breeze of glacial spikes
sonder gray sky of melted dreams and constellations
merry fog of very last breaths
the haunting feeling carved in your pumpkin heart
you'll know when witch weather has arrived
when the somber start of a drum
vibrates through your soul
the sky pleads for a memory
shared between a forgetful ghost
rain forces on to you as tears in your eyes
witch weather won't let you go
unscathed without their feelings latching on you
watch the whisper arising from the dirt
a faint mist of gloom and white shadows
circle you predatorily
but never let witch weather in your soul
they'll take your integrity
and drain all your love
melting icy spikes of a breeze passing by
baby blue sky of acceptance and dignity
dissipating fog of a new breath
you'll see that witch weather
seeped in your head as a painful occurring:
the longing of something you don't have
the unsureness of something you didn't do
the uncertainty of a life you barely felt
all of a sudden
when the light gently paints your skin
and the rain holts to a soft patter
you know that you were once witch weather
