Yo, Ho, Ho! Go, Popplio!

I woke up bright an early to see Rocky sleeping behind me as she let's me use her as a pillow, Lilo and Zora slept next to each other near my legs, Lou slept on my right while Winter slept on my left. I stretched my arms and yawned while Rocky woke up and yawned too, finally the rest of my Pokémon woke up and stretched. I was then about to fall asleep when Rocky began licking my face. A LOT.

Valarie: alright, alright! I'm up!! Sheesh, you don't let me sleep at least five more minutes?
Rocky [Lycanroc]: lycan!
Valarie: I'll take that as a no
Kukui: Rise and shine Val, it's time for breakfast, then after that you and Ash can start going to school
Valarie: [whine] fine

I went inside the house to get changed, I walked into the dining area to sit down and eat. The rest of my Pokémon are their breakfast with Rockruff, Rowlet, and Pikachu, Ash finally woke up and ate breakfast with me.

Kukui: you excited for your first day at Pokémon School?
Valarie: you bet, I can't wait! Me and my Pokémon are going on ahead, see you there Ash!! That is if you can get there before me
Ash: hey! No fair!! [eats his breakfast fast] wait up!!
Kukui: I'll see you both there!

I ran off with Rocky by my side and Lilo on my shoulder, just like Pikachu on Ash's shoulder. We both ran as fast as we could, I didn't noticed that Lana was by the shore with Popplio, I just kept running with all I have until finally I reached to the Pokémon School.

Valarie: Ha! Score 20 for Valarie Z Goodman!! In your face Ash!!! Huh? Where did he go? Was he even racing me?
Kiawe: I think he may have got distracted Val, Alola
Valarie: Alola to you too Kiawe, I see Charzard looking great
Kiawe: yeah, just got done with a couple deliveries
Valarie: you know I never asked you what kind of deliveries you do
Kiawe: I deliver Moomoo milk to our people who order
Valarie: oh wow, I never tried Moomoo milk, is it good?
Kiawe: the very best, fresh from my family farms
Valarie: I'll believe that once I try some

We both made it to the classroom where we both greeted Mallow, Sophocles, and Lillie. Rocky greeted Togedemaru, Bounsweet, and Turtonator.

Lillie: wow Val, it's a never before seen kind of Lycanroc
Valarie: really?
Lillie: yeah, it's not even at the Pokémon Database
Valarie: wow Lillie you know a lot about Pokémon, how come you don't have one?
Lillie: well, it's because I can't touch Pokémon
Valarie: really?
Lillie: yeah
Valarie: you know you remind me of a friend of me and Ash's. She really had a hard time being able to get to touch bug type Pokémon, but I told her the more you don't get over your fears the more difficult it will be to be able to face it. In other words, don't let your fears of touching Pokémon prevent you from touching one, instead learn from it and you'll soon be able to touch a Pokémon
Lillie: wow, thank's Val
Valarie: speaking of Pokémon, I have one that's perfect for you to practice with. Come on out Lilo!

Lilo hopped onto my arms as he calmly lays there as I pet him on his head.

Valarie: see, Lilo is asleep so he won't move much at all. Here's what I want you to do, picture Lilo something that you like then try to bring your hand closer to Lilo's head as much as you can
Lillie:... O-O-Okay

I watch Lillie slowly and carefully reach out to pet Lilo, while I reassure her that nothing will happen. To be fair, Lilo hardly cares what happens around him. Unless it's a Pokémon Battle, then he's fired up. But before Lillie could place her palm closer, Ash came in filled with joy and spooked me and Lillie.

Valarie: Ash! You ruined Lillie's opportunity to touch a Pokémon!!
Ash: oh, I'm sorry
Lillie: it's okay, but I almost touched it, isn't that good?
Valarie: it's more than good Lillie, it's a start, but you'll be able to touch Pokémon in no time
Lillie: you think so?
Valarie: I know so, believe me
Kukui: Alola everyone
Kukui's Students: Alola Professor
Kukui: the theme for tomorrow's class is getting to know marine Pokémon. We're heading out to sea
Ash: oh, out to sea sounds awesome!
Pikachu: pika!
Valarie: wow, if Misty was here she would love to go out to sea
Kukui: you're trump card for befriending marine Pokémon... Is a fishing rod! All right, Lana knows everything about the sea!
Lana: thanks
Kukui: I've asked Lana to be your special instructor tomorrow. Are you ready, Lana?
Lana: yes sir I'll do my best
Ash: I just remembered! You were fishing the first time I met you
Mallow: of course. She's a master fisherwoman! She knows tons about marine Pokémon
Ash: that's awesome!
Lana: Marine Pokémon are the best
Valarie: you said it, I really wanna catch a marine Pokémon but haven't had the best of luck
Kukui: so class, don't forget your fishing rod tomorrow
Valarie: I don't have a fishing rod, maybe after school we can go buy one Rocky, after that, I'll buy you something to eat. How does that sound?
Rocky [Lycanroc]: lycan
Kiawe: hey Val, mind if I tag along, you need someone to show you around Melemele island
Valarie: [smile] thanks Kiawe, you're the best
