I rolled out of bed at seven o'clock, walking into the bathroom to pee. When I was done and washed my hands, I wobbled out to the little living room to see Tay sitting on the couch in front of the television. She was drinking a cup of coffee, her brown hair pulled up into a bun. She was wearing her usual sleepwear, except she was wearing a tank top instead of just her bra.

"Morning," she said, smiling up at me.

I ran my fingers through my messy hair, suddenly subconscious of how I looked after just waking up. I was always like this with her.

"Morning," I replied.

Tay grinned. "I made you some tea, since I know you don't really like coffee..."

"Oh, thank you." I doubted that was why she made tea. She probably expected Hayley to be awake soon, but I knew that Hayley slept in as long as she wanted.

Tay nodded shyly and took another sip of her coffee. I slowly made my way over to where our coffee maker sat. A mug was beneath it, a tea bag inside of it. I grabbed it and dipped the bag in and out a couple times before throwing it away.

"Hayley still sleeping?" I asked quietly, taking a sip.

Tay nodded. "She's still as a rock. I don't know. It's kind of cute."

I cringed, but said nothing about her comment. "I'm a little surprised that you're awake. You typically sleep in a half hour longer."

She bit her lip as she smiled. "You make it seem like you know everything about me."

"Well...I pretty much do, love."

She looked down, still smiling. A silence settled over us as I sipped my tea and she just nervously avoided my eyes. Then the unthinkable happened: Hayley Williams woke up before 12 A.M. She stumbled out of Tay's room in Tay's pajamas. My heart dropped to my stomach as they smiled at each other and Hayley sleepily dropped herself onto the couch, laying her head in Tay's lap.

"Good morning, sleepy head," Tay said, placing her hand on Hayley's stomach.

"Mornin," the ginger mumbled back, nestling her head against Tay even more.

"I have to go to class soon, babe."

Hayley groaned and sat up, kissing Tay's cheek. Tay scrunched her nose up and stood, walking over by me to put her mug in the sink.

"I'm gonna go change," she announced as I watched her every move. Her arm bumped my elbow as she walked past me, and I smiled a little when I realized that she'd done it on purpose.

Tay made her way into the bathroom after she'd grabbed a change of clothes, which left Hayley and me alone. I finished my tea as she awkwardly fiddled with her fingers and watched the television. After a couple minutes of silence, Hayley looked up at me with a smirk.

"I know that you like her," she said, turning so that she was laying on the couch, facing me.

I swallowed. "What are you talking about?" The last thing I was ever going to do was let Hayley in on the fact that I was crushing hard on her girlfriend, and had been since I'd met her.

Hayley rolled her eyes. "Don't act like you don't know what I'm getting at, Jen. You like Tay. I mean, it's really obvious."

I swallowed and gripped the counter as Hayley rolled her eyes and made her way over to me. If I could have backed up more, I would have. But I was currently stuck.

"But, come on," she said. "Why her?" Suddenly, her hands were on my chest and panic rose in my throat. "I've known you even longer, Jen... Have I ever crossed through your mind?"
